With the 174th pick in the 2025 Steeler Fury Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select…

Image

Nash “The Polar Bear” Hutmacher, NT, Nebraska...

That's right, “Polar Bear” is genuinely the man's nickname. An NFL Combine snub, Nash was a universally recognized leader as the anchor of that Nebraska Defensive Line. If you're looking for traits, Nash was a 4x South Dakota State Wrestling Champ (160-0), and 3x champion in track and field events (shot-put and discus). Denver has been in need of a true Nose for some time, and while Nash appears to have trimmed down for the Combine process (to which he was not invited), he played at 330 lbs with some regularity, so he'll fit in just fine. Interesting note... Hutmacher's Defensive Line Coach at Nebraska? Former Broncos D-Lineman, Terrance “Pork Chop” Knighton. Welcome to Broncos Country, Nash!

1.20 - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
2.51 - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
3.85 - Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
5.149 (Trade DAL) - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
5.174 (Trade DAL) – Nash Hutmacher, NT, Nebraska
6.191 - TBD
6.197 - TBD
6.208 - TBD

Players OTB: G Ben Powers, ILB Alex Singleton, S PJ Locke, RB Jaleel McLaughlin

First off a big shout out to STD, because I know this is his favorite player this year. If he’s successfu,D shares in the joy and if he crashes, it’s my fault!

If you are intent on running a TE-centric offense, then I feel like :
A. You can never have enough of them
B. You need ones with bunch of different strengths to complement each other, since you’re going to have 2-3 on the field together

And

C. You sure as hell need to have a better TE than Oat Freiermuth getting the majority of the snaps

I like the addition of Donald Parham as a true move TE receiver, love what Darnell Washington does, but I seek a guy who can push Freiermuth for the job as TE1 someday.

This prospect started in basketball, as so many TEs do, even playing both basketball & football in college. But unlike many of the basketball converts, he’s actually a good deal more physical and a very good blocker. He’s not basketball-thin, either—he’s a big dude and just settling into the position.

He’s so much faster than most TEs, yet is bigger and has longer arms and more blocking ability than anyone close to him in speed. I like high-upside players in Round 6, and this guy is THAT.

With the 185th pick in the 2025 SteeleRFury Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

With the 191st pick in the 2025 Steeler Fury Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select…
Image

Jo’Quavious ‘Woody’ Marks, RB, USC...

High-water mark of 83 receptions in 2021 with Mississippi State (which would have placed him near WR Tet McMillan territory in this year’s draft), and finished the 2024 season with an impressive 47 receptions (321 yards) to go along with 1,133 yards on the ground.

Marks has a low center of gravity, excellent vision, and outstanding acceleration. As you might expect from a guy with 261 career receptions, Marks boasts extraordinarily soft hands for a running back. Need to see his heart? Check out Marks’ high-motor play against Michigan where he straight-up rips the ball from the hands of first-round-lock, Kenneth Grant - it’s drool-worthy… You’ve got a friend in Broncos Country, Woody!

1.20 - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
2.51 - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
3.85 - Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
5.149 (Trade DAL) - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

With the 197th pick in the 2025 Steeler Fury Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select…

Andrew Armstrong, WR, Arkansas
Image

Okay, the Broncos initially had no intention of dedicating TWO draft picks to the WR room, but that all changed when they watched Razorbacks WR Andrew Armstrong fall right into their laps with the 197th pick. With the addition of recent Free Agent Trent Sherfield geared primarily toward Special Teams value, recently drafted WR Tez Johnson more appropriately profiled to line up behind Mims, and Lil'Jordan Humphrey's departure made official by his signing with the Giants, the Broncos were in need of a little more length - at 6'4", Andrew Armstrong more than answers the bell. The reliable and athletic Armstrong boasts an impressive 9.44 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) and led the SEC in receptions (78), yards (1140) and yards per game (103.6) in 2024 - don't want to brag for him, but that feels like a pretty big deal.

Welcome to Broncos Country, Andrew!

1.20 - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
2.51 - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
3.85 - Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
5.149 (Trade DAL) - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

Green Bay double-dips at DL for this versatile piece who is only available because he’s 24.
