once the formulated plan didn't work they never thought to change it Freaking pathetic
To paraphrase, arguably, the best coach ever: Mike Tomlin does what he does. They come out and run the same thing, game after game. It doesn’t matter the opponent, the players, or even the decade.

This is what all other teams are using against iron Mike now
How many more ball washers in the media are going to float that NAHLS bullshit from here on out
ESPN seem to lay the proper graphic to get the party started

If Clark paused blowing Tomlin long enough to praise him a bit, you know it has to be really bad.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Give it a day or so and they’ll be back on the Tomlin bandwagon.

I still wonder if a team willing to be interested in trading for him.
If the Jets are interested in Arthur Smith, somebody surely would trade for Tomlin
One would hope and pray
Scheffler just said on Countdown in the bit about coaching carousel that “considering how the Steelers have ended the season he expects teams to call the Steelers and inquire about a trade for Tomlin”. as the Steelers may be ready to move on. However, he said he can’t see the Steelers doing it because of how they operate

Here we go on the Tomlin in demand storylines (like last year)
ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes teams might call the Steelers about Mike Tomlin’s availability.
In a run-on sentence for the ages, Schefter added loads of caveats including but not limited to teams wondering if they should inquire about the Steelers’ willingness to move on Tomlin. He quickly said he doesn’t expect a move to happen. Neither do we. The Super Bowl champion head coach has yet to see a losing record in 18 seasons on the headset. Pittsburgh is coming off back-to-back seasons with 10 wins. While the team hasn’t made it out of the Wild Card Round in seven years, it’s hard to pin that on Tomlin given Pittsburgh’s lackluster quarterback play during that stretch. Another first-round exit will keep the rumor mill turning, but all signs point to Tomlin sticking in Pittsburgh for 2025.

Great insite Schefter. But who the fuck is responsible for the lackluster qb play for the last 7 years, along with the highest paid defense, that gets smoked in every playoff game in those last 7 years?

Cowher made it to 5 or 6 AFCC with scrub QBs
They need to stop putting this shit on the players, and QBs, specifically

The Tomlin media defenders are out in full force. Poor Tomlin, he is a victim of Pickens head case mentality. Poor Tomlin, if only Russ was in his prime. He just doesn't have a QB.
It's so fucking obvious they have an agenda to keep anointing Tomlin. We know why. Anyone with a brain that has watched our games knows better. But the agenda marches on.
TB is right. The worst thing that can happen is winning a rock fight in Baltimore next weekend. That said, even if we crash and burn, Rooney still won't pull the trigger.

Seems Mr scheffler got a call after his initial on-air statement
Tomlin does have a strong media response team
Anything negative seems to be countered almost immediately
That doesn’t happen when they bad mouth mccarthy or mayo or just about any other coach

Notice how they never mention he had a HOF QB for a large part of that record of playoff failure and late season fades

He was handed one of the most talented defenses in football and a HOF QB who was 24 years old when he got hired.
Tomlin was a great button-pusher of a veteran team to get the most out of them.
He is completely in over his head trying to rebuild a team, find a new franchise QB, put together a team that can overcome talent deficiencies to out-scheme a superior opponent.... you know, all that little stuff.

The Jets are desperate for mediocrity. We could milk the fuck out of them for Tomlin.
And we should do it. Before next weekend.

We need a fool of an Owner or GM to make a Herschel Walker type trade.
Jets are dire enough to do it but would Tomlin be willing to go to such a mess.
Maybe he would accept being traded to the Cowboys.
2 - 1st Round Picks
2 - 2nd Round Picks
2 - Players (Micah Parson & CeeDee Lamb)
We could sweeten the deal and include Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin.

I could be talked into it. If you can convince him they'd just take a WR anyway, we could probably get STD on board. Maybe B2B, but only after the first Board Mock.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

Only 7 NFL teams have 0 playoff wins since 2016. Of those teams:
✦ Steelers - 0 HC changes

Only the 3rd team in playoff history to enter postseason on a 4 game losing streak. '99 Lions was the last time.
He continues to set the wrong records while being predominantly being spoken of ONE record which is somewhat emasculating of a successful one, IMO. Maybe it's just me, but elite HC's are usually associated with SB's when they are spoken about. The STANDARD and all....
Finally retired: 31DEC25
