Tomlin has a no-trade clause. He's going nowhere he doesn't want to go. And he aint going to the Jets and probably not the Cowboys.

Here is an even better perspective - Jim Harbaugh spent the last ten years coaching in college and he still has more NFL playoff wins (5) than Mike Tomlin (3) since 2010

You just made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

And is Jim H. More likely to get to 6 playoff wins than MT gets to 4.?

I still hate that prick. I enjoyed his whiny ass crying in the 95/96afc champ. @ trs

But that stat shows how propped up Tomlin is

Me, my, I. Always the center of every stupid drama this team generates.

Are they tote bags from Lakiya Tomlin's t-shirt emporium down the strip bedazzled with his famous saying "The Standard is the Standard" or are they those bags you gotta buy at Giant Iggle to take home your groceries or are they freebie PBS tote bags his wife got for donating 100 bucks?

Hefty garbage bags?

Rooney just continues to fuck us.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

This should be national news

Players do not believe in gameplanning and question tomlins reasons for coverages and plays

https://steelersdepot.com/2025/01/fitti ... ame-plans/

Schefter is probably working 24/7 to make sure this is suppressed at national level

This should be the end and all

It’s the coaching or lack there of

Rooney. Your move

That yesterday was fireable offense. Couple that with the players not believing in the game plans

“When you pass the ball, there are three things that can happen… and two of them are bad.”—Woody Hayes

When you pass the ball, four things can happen, one is neutral, one is bad, one is good, and one is good plus 15 yards.

Woody Hayes was still playing rugby.

Every year Tomlin stays and shits the bed is a championship year for the Tomlin sycophants.

The Bungs passed the ball for the entire first quarter while Coach was teeter-tottering around wondering what was happening.

And then at the end of the game, Russ tried running for some reason while he should have been passing.

Did he do that because the directive from Coach screwed with his natural instincts, something Coach doesn't have?

Whoever follows Coach is going to have to fumigate every square inch of Heinz to rid it of this stench. This is how the Lions operated for years. Stupid shit piled upon stupid shit with excuses being ladled over everything like rancid cheese.

This team was so screwed when Ben left. Every game reveals something new that he accounted for.

Yes, my opinion too. Austin will be proverbial sacrificial lamb. Just like Zeise wrote.

Time to scour the laundry list of recent Gus Bradley type firings to find the next "defensive coordinator" for the puppeteer

I'm in agreement on the sacrificial Austin front.

I'd say it's about 80% likelihood, he's a goner

No they'll keep Austin to be the scapegoat next year.

Pat Meyer, the receivers coach and maybe Mike Sullivan will go this year

I can see Pat Meyer getting the axe, irrespective. I think Azziani (WR Coach) is safe... you can't put Pickens' stupid behavior on him, and the determination to keep mike williams on the sideline, is almost certainly a Tomlin move.

Anywho... lets hope for some real change, and not just the standard, rearranging the deck chairs.

It would be so on-brand for them to have the 23rd ranked offense or whatever and therefore can the defensive coach.

lol

I think the issue is that the defensive players are bitching

Also, I fully expect Pat Meyer to be on the chopping block.

In respect to Smith, I think he's going to go to greener pastures. I know if I were him, I would rather be unemployed than have my reputation tied to the clusterphuk that Tomlin insists upon.

Art's wealthy enough to be able to put it out there that the Jets are looking for him.

I'm assuming the family wealth is his to draw upon.

He has to realize he's slumming it with this stupid organization.

From the elite to the embarrassment in much less than 10 years under these morons.

Saw a short vid from the Ben era, the Jets playoff game with Rex spazzing out, things were running pretty well then. Coach was cheerleading his little heart out. The adults were in the room.

Now they have to spend time creating the lie that things are working well sending out mushmouth to bullshit everyone. That has to wear on the psyche.
