Proven track record. Respected coach. It’s time that Tomlin and Co get back to high pedigree coordinators and not potential scapegoats from Maryland to pin the poor season(s) on.
My job listing reads “Must have NFL coaching experience.”

Assume Canada fired, who do you want as OC?

OFF THE SCALE OF UNINTENTIONAL COMEDY. THE METER IS BROKEN.Jobu wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 2:57 pmMan, I don’t know if your being serious or not, but Mike Leach passed away 2 weeks ago…Works At A Bank wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 2:52 pmExactly. Tomlin will handpick his own yes man. Pretty sure Tomlin's coaching tree is a stick at this point. It’s where coordinators come to die. Not sure there are many coaches out there what want to be subservient to Aviators while also having a slim chance to further their career.
With all that said I’d personally like to see a college OC get a crack in the NFL. I think Mike Leach could do well. He has some HC experience and his offenses have done well no matter the team, conference or QB. But I’m just a layman with limited knowledge on the intricacy of how to run an offense. I do know that you need someone who uses the strengths of their players to their advantage instead of trotting out the same 10 plays a game.

Mike Leach himself would have agreedOrangesteel wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 3:59 pmSomeone suggesting a dead guy replace Canada to be OC next season and us agreeing he’d still be better than who we have in the booth now is one of the funnier sequences I’ve read on here in a long time.
RIP Leach.

Call me crazy, but for some reason I just don’t see Mike Leach, if he were still with us, and Mikey Cool Shades, being a comfortable fit.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 12:30 amHa, totally!bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 12:18 amMike Leach himself would have agreedOrangesteel wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 3:59 pmSomeone suggesting a dead guy replace Canada to be OC next season and us agreeing he’d still be better than who we have in the booth now is one of the funnier sequences I’ve read on here in a long time.

Doesn’t really matter who the OC is, I’ve been a member here since inception and Stillers before this, and one thing I can guarantee is within a month everyone here will be calling the new guy a dope and the worst OC ever, death, taxes and Steeler fans hating on the current OC only 3 things guaranteed in life.
Absolutely.

Speaking of Canada (aka Tomlin to some), will he have different game plans based on the early game results?
Will he be more aggressive in offensive play calling if he knows they are still in the "hunt" or the early game results won't influence the play calling?
And just out of curiosity, does the team watch any of the early games or is there a communication blackout for them while they prepare for their own game?

Grab someone from the Rams staff. Who's their QB coach?

I'll answer my own question: it's Zac Robinson. Zac Taylor was the Rams QB coach when he was hired for the Bengals.

Trade Tomlin to Denver or some shit
Hire Ben Johnson as HC and let him call plays.
That is all.
