Can we just send this fucking guy off as well? What a fucking horrible draft pick. And he’s being a pouty bitch. I don’t blame the attitude but MAN did we fuck this one up as well.

Does anyone here think they’d be a good employee with a positive attitude working in this offense? Your boss is grossly incompetent. They aren’t using you to do the job you were hired to do. Your main coworker fucks everything up making your job impossible. I don’t blame our skill guys from being malcontents, not one bit. Every one of you assholes would be acting up just the same, me included.

With all do respect Perch, I’m finding it really difficult to accept that being malcontent would encourage one to choose a run lane head on into a defender to be swallowed up for a loss behind the line of scrimmage. I don’t believe I would’ve chosen that route regardless of implied dissension.

That said, had Steelers won that game there would’ve undoubtedly been shit talking about the incompetence but it would’ve been forgotten about already, hence the ‘Winning is the Cure All’ comment.

What if Claypool had good coaching.

That's one guy that would have benefitted.

JuJu as well.

Matakeavich is still in the league, playing for the Cowboys. He made it out.

Soon this team will be the one old busted players want to go to a young ones never want to go to, if it isn't already.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

Two different issues.

Somebody inferred that Najee is being a malcontent. I can see why, just feel he and all the skill guys are justified in that.

I agree Najee has generally poor vision when attacking the hole. I’m just not sure this one is a great example of that being that Seumalo got destroyed on the play and allowed the defender to easily go to the area he was attempting to keep him out of.

All of these assholes suck and I hate them.

Terrible vision.
Terrible decision.
Too much indecision.
Maybe change of posision?

Play that in slow motion. Hold your finger on dot in the bar.

1. Najee actually starts left ...towards the grand canyon....and when Seumalo turns his body and defender turns to the inside... valley is even more sealed....... is then .
.
when Najee changes direction to his right. He Had the hole...OT and OG had a lane

2. Najee...at the moment he takes handoff, would see the back of #65 and #73 both shielding defenders.....

3. The marching band could have followed that hole.....tuba's, trombones, the biggest of drums...clowns, jugglers, Santa on his sleigh.

I have been one of the leading posters championing to build the OL the last 5-6 years.

Steelers needed to go OL and DL with first 2 picks in 2021. You do not draft a Rnd 1 running back.
You do not draft a Rnd 1 rb... knowing the need and neglect of the OL
Creed was such an obvious Rnd 2 pick...I was penciling him in when he was still available.

With the neglect in 2021 draft.
Steelers needed to go OL and DL with first 2 picks.

Wow... how'd Tyler Smith And Broderick look. At OTs today.

Steelers OL and DL is suffering because the neglect.

I agree that wasn’t a great block and the play probably was designed to go to the hole Najee tried to take…but as Stosh pointed out, it seemed pretty clear at the point where Najee has to decide that that hole no longer exists, but one to the left does.

Maybe they are coached drilled to always take the cut to the lane the play is designed to open…that would explain a lot. And again would rely on perfect execution time and time again.

Why is anyone defending Najee here? Even if you think Seumalo was poor on that block (and I can see that), Najee clearly has poor vision and terrible ability to adjust.

The poor vision has been on display for years. He routinely misses holes. So, what does he do right? He's got power. He's got good hands. That's about it. His change of direction is poor and his speed is poor.

He's basically Isaac Redman. In fact, in some ways I'd take Isaac at this point. Najee is an absolute KILLER for the offense. It's like constantly wasting downs and touches by getting him the ball. We are essentially giving ourselves TWO downs to convert rather than THREE.

Warren grabs that ball and flys thru that hole....
10 yards....and probably more since it will be an open field.

It also looks like Mooth gets to a LB or safety and it also looks like Daniels releases and gets to second level to tie up ILBs?
This should have been a 15-20 yarder

Najee need to watch Warren film.

At this point....its just his instincts....and may not be correctable.
He will be 26 come camp.
