He was a complete foolish moron from the get go. Mr Run Backwards, that's what he's still doing with his career.

At least DJ can say that he participated in a playoff win during his short stint in Houston- that's one more playoff win than TJ has in his career and the same number of playoff wins that Cam has as an active participant (Cam was on IR during the 2016 playoff run).

Dude has elite separation skills.

Separating himself from employment, that is.

I get it & I agree, BUT shouldn't that have been coached out of him???

Back when Tomlin had Cowhers coaches we were known to draft & coach "UP" wide receivers (Wallace, AB, Burress, etc). Since Tomlin hired WR coaches including this goober named Grady, we've been ruining them & running them out of the league at a terrifying pace (JuJu, Claypool, Dionte, & Pickens trending that way).

Its like every position corp/room/group on the team. We use to take dart throw draft picks & FA rookies & coach players up where they had ascending careers (Willie Parker, Brett Keisel, Fanaca, Aaron Jones, Deebo, Ben, Troy, Ike, Deshea). It wasn't that we drafted better. Those guys were as much dart throws as the draft picks the last 5-6 years right. It's just that the TOMLIN HIRED COACHES HAVEN'T coached "up" a single player (Maybe Watt) in the 5-6 years.

Tomlins hired coaches are killing the ENTIRE franchise. Its so bad the Steeler stigma just died off this past weekend. the whole Steeler mantra is gone. The whole world feels the same about the Steelers, after our loss, as DRAMA described in that other thread. I know I do, I had those beliefs for DECADES.

Name one? Name a player that has had an ascending career under a Tomlin hired coach??? Minka, nope, hes going backwards too. JPJ, trending backwards. Muth, nope. Benton, nope. Dan Moore, nope. Highsmith or Nick Herbig, remember them. And people say Watt went quiet.

If you can't name one, that's ok, I can't either. If you do pull one name out of the HUNDREDS of players we threw a dart at, then I will ask you to name ONE (just one) tight end our moron dunce TE end coach, has coached up his entire career. The issue with this team is so BLATANT, yet every other reason in the world gets all the attention. Our ENTIRE coaching staff is THE WORST IN THE HISTORY of the NFL.

Players, whose careers ascend due to being coached & integrated properly turn out to be good player & know as good draft picks.
Players whose careers descend or plane out have terrible coaches & end being called terrible drafts & draft picks by people like STD. They are all dart throws. Pro bowlers & hall of fame'rs are coached. Our players are not.

Now a twist, back to the Ravens

Ravens claimed WR Diontae Johnson off of waivers from the Texans.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter carefully broke down what is ultimately a brilliant “procedural move” by the Ravens. Johnson is not eligible to play in this post-season and will not be “awarded” to the Ravens until after the Super Bowl. Schefter notes Johnson “qualifies as an unrestricted free agent this offseason and, if he signs with another team, he factors into Baltimore’s compensatory pick formula, potentially helping it obtain an additional draft pick in 2026.” Schefter adds that Johnson “likely won’t step foot back into the Ravens’ facility. But he now can help Baltimore in the off-season.”

The Ravens have one of the best FOs in professional sports.

Pretty brilliant move.

I would throw in Mike Wallace and Santonio Holmes.

He said /talented/ WRs, so Ju Ju is ineligible.

And that's always been the thing with Ju Ju, to me. He had early success because he spent most games wide freaking open from having AB on the other side.

All the criticisms and "he spends too much time on TikTok" came after AB left and his number plummeted.

But I don't think his production declined because he was distracted. I just don't think he was really all that good to begin with.

So, I really don't think he was all that much a diva, or even a problem child the way the others on this list were. I just think people got tricked into thinking he was a #1 receiver when he never actually was.
