Hope i didn’t. Little weird to be trading down if you were targeting one specific player. Unless your guy is like the #4 punter on the board and you really like your odds.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 11:48 pmIf you take my guy I will go apeshit lol

Did our draft get hacked? Pretty sure I received an email from him asking that I send $10,000 to the Uganda National Bank in exchange for $50,000 US dollars after his accounts are unfrozen.

Haha, I didn't expect him to last that long. I had to jump on it.
For my most recent pick I saw the Available Players list showed Zack Kuntz was still available and I had his name typed in but scrolled back up to check and saw he had been taken so I panicked and took Overshown.
It's a rough draft to need a WR. There are almost purely slot guys who may be picked in R1. We've had some fun with picking a guy like Washington at 4, but if you're feeling like you have to improve the offense with a skill player, in this draft, it's probably a better option, if he's there at 17.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 10:09 pmI agree. There are a few I’m considering……. No way would I spend a 2 or 3 on a WR that would likely clog the pipeline to pair up someone better with Pickens…..I kinda doubt Anthony Miller becomes something but at one point he was thought of highly…..maybe he’s one of those guys that landed on the wrong team and benefits from new scenerybradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 10:03 pmLet me ask you a question: Have you actually familiarized yourself with any of the WRs in this year's class? There are like 3-5 who are arguably better or have better traits than the rest of the class. And then there are like 50 guys with similar skillsets. I may pick one, but there wasn't a big advantage to taking one now vs later.
Furthermore, our LT was the worst in football, we have no starting SS, zero EDGE depth. Those things all need to be addressed, too.
Based on last night's dinner in Columbus, and the moves this offseason so far, there's a solid chance the Oline receives some early attention. If we're bound and determined to pound it 1st and 2nd down, it certainly fits philosophically. Could offer play action opportunities, too.
DJ, who folks are understandably a little down on, will be playing closer to a new contract this season, and will hopefully be better.
Austin, if healthy, could add something special, and don't count out Sims returning.
That, and 2nd year improvement from KP, is what we should realistically be hanging our hopes on for the 2023 passing game.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

I said on Twitter a few weeks ago that running style wise Charbonnnet reminds me of Franco. He kinda moves like him. You don’t think he’s that fast or elusive and then he picks up chunks.

Thank you Perch
Note the lack of emojis
Team Jizz likes him and we were kinda stunned he was passed over for what we felt were lesser talentsbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:55 amI said on Twitter a few weeks ago that running style wise Charbonnnet reminds me of Franco. Jizz, out
Great minds think alike skipper
Parker is a Steeler Football player and unlike his much ballyhooed compadre JPJR he comes pre made to play big boy style come fall.
Here is hoping young Washington finds his way into my man Weidl's big mitts.

Gotta say B2B, your draft took a big turn toward old people there. Brents, Mapu, and Ramirez will be a combined what, 70 years old this May? Which if I recall correctly is also their combined 40 time…

A. I would have taken the youngest WR in the draft if I hadn't been sniped
B. At this point I just need guys that can play.
C. All three guys are younger than Kenny was when he got drafted
I think you may be confused about their ages, anyway:
Two of them just turned 23 and one is 22.

1/18/2000 brents
5/9/1999 ramirez (older than pickett was)
?
What was the best season any of them had when they didn’t have an age advantage against most of the other players on the field?

Little age never hurt
Besides all WRs with ‘29 verts were already taken

McGuire is the one Mizzou guy i like this year, and would love to see the Steelers take a shot. He's a few years away, but is very good vs the run and can add some mass to his frame.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:41 pmNice pick, Smoke

I was hoping to get Ramirez in the 5th round. Miscalculated that one....
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Well, I was discussing the three most recent picks, of which Knowles is one (8/17/2000), all three will be younger on draft day than Kenny Pickett was the day he was drafted.Mick wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:43 pm11/8/1999 mapubradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:22 pmA. Ramirez age 21 season got conference honors, age 22 breakout season
Knowles age 19 season was freshman offensive POY in the Big 12
Brents age 18 season had 5 starts, 6 PBUs, INT
Mapu age 22 season, all-conference honoree
it's not like they're 25

@Mick We're also ignoring that it's past the top 100 picks time, and there aren't a lot of great underclassmen left. I don't think it's a deep draft, especially on the offensive side. Same with stand up EDGE types and safeties. I just want guys who can play and fill roles. Don't know who else I'm supposed to target.

What am I missing?
Nelson is a Top 30 player in the NFL
Oh and add to it the Patriots current available cap space, which hasn’t been factored into this fantasy world trade….

I believe there is an error on the draft order. Everything I’m showing is that the Ravens own pick #157, but here that is listed with the Colts.
