In fairness, Tomlin needs the WR route tree to look like his coaching tree.

I don’t think there is anyone under 45 here. Message boards are so antiquated. I come here cause I enjoy watching you asshats piss and moan.Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:29 pmI suspect most of us are sadly old enough to get the Heidi reference

You need to be about 61-62 to remember it live. I just know it because they were always talking about it in the late 70’s !Works At A Bank wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:37 pmI don’t think there is anyone under 45 here. Curious if Connor Heyward can throw it, a pop pass to 80 might be a good option off the tush push also.

one kneel down would have made a world of difference.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:35 pmCan one argue that the Steelers should have taken a couple knees after the Gainwell TD was reversed?

They are one of the league leaders in RZ scoring % they just don't get down there enough.Stosh-67 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:38 pmNot for an offense that does not scoev alotLakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:35 pmCan one argue that the Steelers should have taken a couple knees after the Gainwell TD was reversed?
Nice little move there, Mason.

Love the early usage of Jaylen Warren here in the 2nd half.
Why did we decide we had to come out throwing?

Mason is less athletic than 40 year old versions of Rogers or Roethlisberger
Big third down here.
Get open and protect your fucking QB.

Warren had 8 carries at half. He better end up with at least 25 carries.
would have been better for us if that was a pick

Another interesting wrinkle would be a tush push during a FG or punt situation since you are not allowed to line up over the long snapper….get a big personal protector and a direct snap to a quick RB. Think Outlier jamming the RB over the long snapper for 3 yards.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:44 pmCurious if Connor Heyward can throw it, a pop pass to 80 might be a good option off the tush push also.
Nah, that punt was fantastic.
Wish Mason would lead his receivers a little better.
He throws a nice deep ball but he's under thrown 2 downfield passes today.

What a punt and tackle
That deep ball to Roman was a bit of a wobbler to say the least.
*reserves the right to roots for losses*
Mason sucks. We've scored 14 points today without him.

You can't really lollipop a back shoulder throw or deep out. But that's all Rudolph has.Rod & Wire Mill wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:55 pmThat deep sideline faux back shoulder ain’t working for shit
