Why not try a tush push there?

Or at least get 3 points.

Very disappointing

Our 10 vs 11 tush push?

Rooney watching this….nodding his head in approval on the two total head scratcher calls?

Or is he too drunk to care?

Those 25 seconds they wasted a few plays before came back to haunt them. Plus MVS being too weak to get out of bounds.
This is why you always try to leave a little cushion at the end - just in case you get a first down on penalty. You want enough time to be able to run a few plays. Tomlin always tries to run the clock all the way down. It bit him in the ass this time.

I kick the FG....
All while knowing how inept our play design. Lack of deception, poor execution...
Lack of skill players.... Lack of dynamics...

You kick.
Period.

A drive to start the 3rd that ends with a FG takes the lead.

On what planet do you design a play where you are relying on Freiermuth to make a key block? Insanity! Just more stupid play design and coaching.

Chris Collinsworth on the color commentary.
Miles Garrett Dick sucking ceremony at the half.
A Mike Tomlin/Arthur Smith offense with MVS, Adam Thielen, Calvin Austin III and Scotty Miller as WR.

Is this football hell? I'm fairly sure this is football hell.

Agreed.... I was kind of not liking that. There was a penalty there, knowing they would go for the touchdown and not thinking they would get it

It's the stupid that makes this hurt more.

I could tolerate the 1980s becaus I knew we didn't have the horses, but they still played reasonably smart.

But this team is just so so dumb

tomlin thinks his D played well
they are right where they want to be
just need to execute in 3rd and 4th down
they are playing THIER type game and this ALL that matters
job done

On the off chance Baltimore loses this game, cause that's what is going to have to happen for Steelers to win, Steelers will play Houston at home on Monday night.

The best part of this game is how so many of the Steelers young players are not starting, are marginalized, or inactive. How are supposed to get battle-tested if they're behind the Adam Thielens and Malik Harrisons of the world?

Horrible block too.
He had the angle to drill his guy...
Maybe one on one and Kenny makes a move.

Coaching malpractice...seems like a staff that knows they are on their way out without some playoff wins possibly, only thing that makes any sense to me, cause Theilen, MVS and Skow are bums.

That play just got Tomlin traded or fired.
Nonsense. Gainwell didn’t execute.
The failure of that play wasn’t on gainwell

It was the design and rodgers should have checked out of the call the moment the olb didn’t follow smith in motion

At minimum he should have thrown the ball somewhere else

Wilson and Kaleb Johnson both healthy scratches. That's some great drafting!

I heard that the Steelers almost traded into the 2nd to get Kaleb. Good thing they didn't.
