C'mon Stillers, how 'bout we eschew the "easing in" for a change and start off the game in high gear under the MNF spotlights. Gotta outscore our "defense" ... and we actually have the weapons to do it!

Tomlin better hydrate his troops --- forecast high of 92 degrees and chance of thunderstorms --- perfect football weather, huh? (IMO baseball runs a month too long and football starts a month too soon)

Here we go, Steelers!

All I ask for Monday night is for the team to come out sharp and focused and prepared.
A team that is amped up to play hard and fast.
With energy and passion.

I will be shocked if 50% of the fans at this game are not Steelers fans

My hope is the Steelers goal is to score 55 points offensively
Defense just make plays and eliminate mental errors

Not to go all Al Roker on you b2b  , but here's the current National Weather Service forecast:

Today - Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Heat index values as high as 100. South southeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight - Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. East northeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Either way, ever since the AFCCG loss to Larry Fuckin' Seiple and the Fins in '72, the Steelers generally suck in warmer conditions* -- so it's a good time to bust out of the ordinary!!

* Before that, of course, the Steelers generally sucked in ALL conditions!

weather.com hourly forecast
8:00 PM Isolated Thunderstorms 81° 87° 30% chance rain 79% humidity ENE 5 mph
9:00 PM Mostly Cloudy 80° 86° 15% 81% E 4 mph
10:00 PM Mostly Cloudy 80° 86° 15% 82% E 3 mph
11:00 PM Mostly Cloudy 80° 86° 15% 84% E 5 mph
12:00 AM Mostly Cloudy 80° 86° 15% 84% E 5 mph

nws hourly forecast has it at 30% chance of rain, but otherwise the same

My guess, knowing Florida: it will rain early evening before game time. It will probably rain again late night. It will probably not rain during game.

I give up. You win, franco

Wouldn't a rainy sloppy / game field ..

actually benefit the PS,
Slow the TB passing attack vs. Steeler defense.
Forcing TB to utilize non existent run game.

While Steelers ran well on rainy day in Cleveland.

Enjoy the game boys.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Psyched that DeCastro and Gilbert are out

That certainly helps our chances

I have more faith in Munchak preparing his charges than nearly every other coach in this organization

The way Gilbert's been playing, we actually might be in better shape without him.

Is it just me or does tonight’s game seem more and more like an easy Steelers win?

Well deserved.

I had high hopes for Burns.

Doesn't look like he'll ever figure his shit out.

Corner will, again, be a massive need come April.

He looked great in the preseason.

However, since Gilbert stopped roiding, he's been TERRIBLE.
