Titans and Steelers tied at season’s end
If we beat Jets but lose to Balt
And they lose to NO but beat Houston
Who gets in? Is it conference record first?

Likely the Titans based on strength of victory.

Do you think Tennessee is going to beat New Orleans? I don’t. I’m not even sure they’ll beat HOU in HOU.

Tied at 10-6, the Steelers hold the tiebreaker.
If the Titans finish 9-7 it depends on their loss: Titans lose to Houston but beat NO, then the Steelers own the tiebreaker. They beat Houston but lose to NO, they own it.

It appears the TEN-NO game is mostly inconsequential. Steelers currently hold conference record tiebreaker. Should they lose either of the remaining games while TEN beats HOU the Steelers would no longer have the conference record tiebreaker. Common opponents appears to be even which means it would go to strength of victory which TEN would almost certainly win

We have done this every season except maybe a couple if memory serves. Wishing/hoping for another team [multiple teams] to have to lose one or more games so the Steelers can be in the postseason. Just find it laughable anymore. This team with all the talent and high draft picks [at least on defense] should be a dominant force that wins consistently. Instead we watch as this team drops head scratchers to bottom dwelling teams in the league and struggles versus mediocre teams while made to look foolish and incompetent by the better teams. I just can't get emotionally invested in these fucking Tomlin led seasons anymore. I get too fucking tired by mid season and it turns out to be for nothing more than a one and done postseason as history would have it anyways.
Our SOV this year is .311 so any tiebreaker that comes down to that and we are screwed.
Just FYI.
Just FYI.

We don't have to wish for anything this year (yet).Steelafan77 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 12:23 pmWe have done this every season except maybe a couple if memory serves. Steelers win out and they are in.
