I've done these in the past, but usually there's not a lot of takers out there. Given how today went especially, I think there will be some more interest this time around. We obviously get the benefit of hindsight here knowing who would still be available, whereas the front office doesn't in real, but it's still fun to do.
Simple exercise: of who was available at the time of each Steelers draft selection, who would you have picked?
1. Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
2. Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
3. Kendrick Green, C, Illinois
4a. Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas
4b. Tyree Gillepsie, S, Missouri
5. Daviyon Nixon, DT, Iowa
6. Tay Gowan, CB, UCF
7a. Jack Anderson, OL, Texas Tech
7b. Cade Johnson, WR, South Dakota St.

Yes Jaelon Darden that is happening.
He's a fun player.
Buddy Johnson is not.
I'd keep the fat bastard punter in rd 7.
He might be fun too especially if he balloons up to 3 bills.

Round 1: No. 24 – Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
Round 2: No. 55 – Nick Bolton, ILB, Missouri
Round 3: No. 87 – Kendrick Green, G, Illinois
Round 4: No. 128 – Dan Moore Jr., OT, Texas A&M
Round 4: No. 140 – Buddy Johnson, ILB, Texas A&M
Round 5: no trade, no pick
Round 6: No. 216 – Kylin Hill, RB, Miss St
Round 7: No. 245 – Jermar Jefferson, RB, Oregon St
Round 7: No. 254 – Pressley Harvin III, P, Georgia Tech
1st couple rounds were pretty painful teases, with the board loaded with good options 5-10 picks ahead of us, and then they all got taken. I lean toward B2Bs concerns about freiermuth being quite potentially accurate, but hope for something more, and Spaeth 2.0, while a big disappointment, would be better than nothing and again, board options weren’t good. Bolton? I like Cisco, but he’s a FS. Couple OTs come off the board 20 picks later, ones viewed as a guard and the other is turning 25.
Loudermilk is an understandable prospect; i agree with Colbert that this was a terrible class for 3-4 DE, and Loudermilk may be a reasonable development player for the position. But he’s not remotely worth a 4th or 5th, 0 potential impact this season. If you really love him that much, don’t trade away your 5th rounders. Anyway, i have Barmore and would consider running Tuitt/Barmore/Heyward/Watt if Highsmith struggles in 4-2 formations.

Not very nice words about Harvin, even if he is a bit heavy.
I am hearing that he is unhappy about his weight and that....
He eats because he is unhappy, and he is unhappy because he eats.

But love the potential.
Multi threat punter may keep some eyes in the backfield a little longer....which could help our gunners on the release.
If he can't outrun someone on a fake punt, should see he steam rolling a outside punt cover player for a first down.

Stosh, I love the punter pick.
My favorite day 3 pick
I’ve been watching the draft religiously since 1987.
With exception of a couple weddings and my sons baseball tournament couple years back I’ve never not sat and charted the day 3 picks.
That all changed yesterday when i threw my legal pad across the room after the trade for Loudermilk.
Played basketball and grilled after that.
Didn’t write down another selection.
Hopefully my eyes are deceiving me and the kid can play.
But Looks like a wasted 4th round pick in what should be a loaded draft next year
Oh well
