Yeah that was pretty bad. Sorry but their QB definitely is crying about his WRs. Would be nice to capitalize on that. Would take a #1 too at least. Then I saw this on Twitter. Yikes.

You might be on to something, but I'd at least like to see that repeated in Preseason #2.jewelsongs wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 2:50 amAfter watching tonight's game, I double down on getting Smith. We have receivers 9 deep. Give the Bears Claypool, Bush and our first rounder next year. This guy would fix our remaining issue on D.
Wow that is worse than Larry Foote his rookie year v the Saints. ILB outside of Jack looks a mess.RemoAZ wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 9:18 pmYeah that was pretty bad. I've seen people try to defend him saying "well #50 caused Bush to screw up"
The "biggest" bust in Steelers history is, and always will be, Jamain Stephens.
Respectfully disagree
That’s what happens when your head coach has bbq and beers with the uncle.
He had 0.0 tackles in Seattle gameDeebo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 8:07 pmI've seen people try to defend him saying "well #50 caused Bush to screw up"
While Bush isn't responsible for that run getting the original 5 yards, he exacerbated the problem by not attacking and therefore having a 5 yard run turn into 15.
What a pathetic display of linebacking
Stephens pretty famously showed up at training camp weighing 400 pounds, failed the Cowher conditioning test, and had a visit from the Turk the next morning. Hence "biggest."Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 9:09 pmRespectfully disagree
We didn’t give up shit to get that load Stephens
“Denver received Pittsburgh's 2019 first- and second-round picks (Nos. 20 and 52) and a 2020 third-round pick.”
Cmon man! (in my best Joe Biden voice)

I saw about 80 of those types of plays last year from him. It's more than just slow to react. He's just going through the motions to collect a paycheck. It's almost like weekend flag football from 40 year olds.
I knew it was more than just the knee. He simply lacks the hunger and heart to play the game right now. He should have pulled a Tuitt at this point. It's a massive problem. He makes Sean Spence on one leg look like a pro-bowler.
With UG3 done and Bush checked out, we have some real problems in the middle there. Jack can't do everything himself. Gotta hope Spillane can be good enough and we can minimize his damage in coverage situations.
Outside of someone like James Harrison (who comes across as a guy who gives no fucks), when is the last time you heard former players criticize ANYONE?COR-TEN wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 4:57 pmWhen Ramone Foster talked about Conner Heyward in that video someone posted, he said that the steelers organization doesn't give a pass to players that have some connection with the franchise. Bush was terrible before his injury, terrible last year coming back from injury and in terrible in the first preseason game where he gave up multiple long runs by biting on fakes and leaving his gap.
His response is that he doesn’t care if the steelers let him go because some other sucker will pay him. Very inspiring.

Bush has no reason to worry, so he’s not worrying. He’s just like any other great NFL player. They need to stay healthy. There’s no guarantee anyone will stay healthy. Great players get paid, so Bush will get his money. He could play another ten years. There are 31 other teams, if Pittsburgh doesn’t want him, but Pittsburgh hasn’t made a habit of getting rid of great players.
