Streams

- They exist. Many offer any sport you could think of all over the world.
- In my experience they’ve been flawless 98% or better of every game and they’ve never not been able to backup to what I missed if I choose to bump them back soon after a misfire although after many years I’ve realized it’s often not necessary as I will catch it on replay or highlights or just choose to miss something inconsequential
- I guess they make money through ads and by allowing other sites including those that at first blush seem like free streaming sites to use pop ups to attempt to steer you to those sites. You most click through and close those pop up steer away windows as they pop up and continue to pop up. Eventually you will hit the “play” arrow on your entended site and it will stay there and shortly start while showing some kind of movement indicator. The click through and close process can be monotonous. Sometimes seeming far too long in as much as under 2 minutes if done efficiently can. Keep going. Make sure you don’t accidentally close your correct intended window or you will need to start over
- sportsurge nfl bite nfl reddit streams among others are good starting points to search for streams. There are others.
- usually a streaming site link you can fairly easily find with a little effort doesn’t actually stream the games instead listing links that do. Some of those are better than others. Bookmark the good ones and try to go to them directly later. It’s not the worst idea to do some exploring on slightly less worn pathways as well
- remember these are free. They make ALOT of money with pop ups pushing you elsewhere and donations.
- if I’m at home I mirror my phone to my tv. If not I go full screen on my phone or if it’s obvious I must rescue the interwebz yet again from the game thread potentially dumbing down the entire net and shorting the whole damn thing out I will go split screen
Lol.
- don’t be a jackass and post links publicly all over. the internet knows who does this and you will face repercussions you won’t realize or contemplate until it’s too late lol😎🦍

The NFL sanctioned pay sites ARE better quality and less hassle. There are numerous different ways to get the NFL top quality product. The amount of money they ask for on their best deals for certain platforms isn’t too bad. It’s never a bad idea to pay a few bucks for top quality and ease of use

I can report that the DAZN option from Canada has worked flawlessly this whole season. I didn’t need it last week, instead using Amazon Prime Video. I like DAZN’s DVR better than Prime’s.

I watch on the AppleTV DAZN App.

The multi-screen option is really nice, with up to four simultaneous games split equally.

Red Zone is included.
NFL Network included.
Coach’s or All22 included.
All the NFL archives available.

Best part of DAZN is there are zero blackout risks, even nationally televised, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football are all available on this service. No need to worry about needing cable or Amazon Prime, or Peacock or Paramount+ or ESPN+. And you get to see Canadian commercials which is a nice mix-up and hear who is running against Trudeau.

Don’t forget all the other sports too.

Again $25.00 a month cancel or join any time.
But you also need a DNSFlex for $5.00 a month to change your location to Canada simply by punching in a manual DNS number on your phone, AppleTV, computer etc. I am in DC metro area.

Fuck you DAZN for changing something in your terms or tech!

Dead now in the US. Will try another DNS service to see if the one I chose sucks!

Looks like DNSFlex’s DNS server is getting flagged by DAZN.

Tried a ExpressVPN service after the game and it works also VPNify on AppleTV works too and is cheaper.

Hey LakecrestSteeler,
Are you still using this? I was wondering if the DND stuff still works for you? Also did you pay for Dazn through a US credit card? Any information would be appreciated.

DOFU sports app

Have direct tv. Still have it. Only reason I got it 15 years ago was to finally get the ticket. Kept it still even with ticket going to YouTube. Too lazy to deal with switching everything. Also I like direct tvs pause/rewind/move forward frame by frame ability which you can't do with all these streaming things. Also have MASN so can watch Orioles and it isn't really on streaming sites yet.

So last year was my first without the ticket in a long time and I did fine. Steelers are on regular TV surprisingly a lot where I live in eastern Panhandle of WV but when they are not I use the DOFU sports app.

Brother in law turned me on to it. Can watch many sports. Either on phone or laptop or access the stream on laptop and hook it up to TV. Streams usually work pretty well. With that and Redzone through direct tv did fine and saved all the money

YouTube TV with location spoofer set to Pittsburgh has worked both the last two years for me. As far as I know, Google still allows you to temporarily change your location, but I'm sure they are working to block VPN servers.

location spoofing my s22+ still works for some apps but fubotv has caught up with it so unless local fox channel carries the steelers, which is unlikely being in bears territory, i will either need to find streams or head to the bars for our games on fox this yr. the thing about the pay options for me is i have to buy not only the entire leagues games not just the Steelers, but also the Steelers are on primetime and locally so often that the nfl ticket ends up being close to a $100 for each game i actually need it for and thats just not justifiable. i'm not going to consume $75-100 worth of beer and wings at the bar during a game, so the bar is far cheaper

Not only is the bar effectively cheaper, it's also (at least at Stewart's in Bear, big Steelers contingent) fun to get out and watch the game at a gathering.

I'm going old school, like I did in the 80's and 90's prior to getting Direct TV and NFL ticket. Most games are televised here, maybe 2 or 3 aren't due to being right between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. I will be listening on the radio to the games I can't watch, I almost really don't give a shit anymore anyway so this decision is real easy for me.

Caesars Sportsbook. As long as you have $.10 in your account OR have placed a bet in the last 10 months you can stream every NFL game legally. So put $10 or $20 on the Steelers and your Sunday Ticket is free all season.

it's been yrs now, but we used to go be a part of about a 20-30 Steelers fan group at the local bowling alley that had the sunday ticket. Steelers always got the biggest tv and sound which was based on fan numbers. our matriarch was Heath Miller's great Aunt and when she could no longer attend because of aging it kinda fizzled out, and now i heard the alley stopped having the ticket altogether, but youre right, it was a great time! especially in western illinois to have such a large number of Steeler fans turn out in a smaller city...maybe i can find another like group again somewhere in the area.🤞

We've got a very similar thing going in Delaware. Get the choice TV, about half the bar in B&G, brewery with a legit food menu... good times. No player relatives, though, that's pretty cool!

Might want to reply to or use the @username so the user gets an alert…just stumbled on this by chance.

I plan on using this again…best to not pay until you absolutely need it. Haven’t tried it yet this year. I need some viagra for my Steeler fandom this year.

It was very reliable last year. It is essentially the Sunday ticket…includes red zone and all games going back a decade or two….multi-play 4 games at a time and DVR.

They raised the price to $29.99 a month.

The best feature is that no matter the network or streaming platform in the US, Canada/DAZN still broadcasts every game as if it was on their network.

It is almost an essential to have Sunday Ticket if you are trying to avoid paying cable like I am and live outside Pittsburgh market. There may be a bunch of games on other channels but then you have to pay for Prime, ESPN, or Peacock if they start doing exclusively on Peacock.

I bought the WNBA pass thinking I was covered to watch Caitlin Clark, huge fan…but sure enough ESPN and CBS started picking up her games and they were blacked out on the WNBA app….then if they play the Mystics it defaults to your credit card billing zip code and kicked in the blackout too…to give some pitfalls of these deals from which DAZN is immune!

To answer your other questions. I just pay for it through iTunes. The VPN connected to Canada server is what gets it working and makes the DAZN app credit card or payment agnostic. I use VPNify on the AppleTV.

I also literally just discovered 10 minutes ago that you can stream from your iPhone to the AppleTV. That is important because VPNify is free on the iPhone, which keeps this at $30 a month.

You can test it out now…just hit the PGA tour event. It streams for free right now.

That is why the DAZN option is kind of nice. It ends up being g $30 a game or cheaper depending on the schedule and who is covering.

I found out I can get youtube sunday ticket for $200 because of veteran status. I just went that route. By the time I pay for VPN, DAZN and whatever else just to get it to work, I think $200 isn't too bad. Thanks everyone for the responses.

The team has at least 7 nationally broadcast games in 2024 plus the Netflix game this year. So 7 1/2 National televised games.

I have 3 free months of Apple TV (just have to activate it)

I see this VPNify app when I search but it’s not free.

How does this work exactly?

Looks like I’m going to have to stream from an app or some shit.

I won’t buy the Sunday Ticket again. Assholes charged me full price last year signing up week 8.

I’m tech disadvantaged so the how to using VPN, Caesars Sportsbook or even DAZN etc would be greatly appreciated.

If you pay for Dazn app you just get the games? Or, do you have to add a VPN or something?

No issues streaming on other sites but adds, freezing is maddening and wouldn’t mind spending some money on a better stream.

TS…AppleTV free for 3 months is about AppleTV plus.
There is an AppleTV device like a Roku or Firestick Device. On the AppleTV device there is an App called AppleTV+…that is what you are getting free for 3 months.won’t help with the Steelers

On the AppleTV device or the iPhone you can download an app called DAZN. Then subscribe to it for $30 a month.

Once you do that then you need the VPN for the device you are using. VPNify is free on the iPhone device, but costs $8 a month on the AppleTV device.

VPNify, when you pick the server in Canada makes DAZN look like it is in Canada and then it allows the NFL graphics to show up to watch the games.

Just try it on you iPhone first. Subscribe to DAZN first and then get the app running with no NFL.

Then download VPNify on the iPhone and pick the Canada server. Then go to safari and load a web page just to get the whole phone using the VPN connection. Then go back to the DAZN app and you should then see the NFL logos and buttons. Sometimes you will have to click buttons in DAZN to go to a channel and then back to get it to refresh and show the NFL icons.

If you kill the DAZN app and then run it again with the VPNify already connected it will not work.

Run DAZN first with the US connection. The. turn on the. VPNify Canada Server on, then get to DAZN app and you should see the NFL stuff

Hey all. Decade plus lurker here... Some may know me as "POOPTITS" on the draft chat.
These are the sites I use and will try to make it discrete as possible to not cause any issues. Google search..(S.T.R.E.A.M.E.A.S.T) OR (M.E.T.H.S.T.R.E.A.M.S). I haven't missed a game in years and the streams are 1080p with very minimal buffering. If you have a firestick get the bing app and the mouse toggle add-on. I usually just watch on my PC though. Thank me later.

LOL…I have Hulu Live for a month until I go back to guerilla Steeler watching. It was nice to just pull up one app and it was working. But it was just coincidence and luck that the game was on a station that worked with my location. Back to the principals of zero cable package afterwards.

Just canceled Amazon Prime today too to send a signal that their value proposition is too far out over the skis. The commercials in Prime video was the last straw.

I know I won’t be alone…Walmart plus is getting more and more attractive, especially with Paramount plus included; that alone is better than Prime video.

I will go month to month on these video services and shipping services. I can consolidate my watching and purchasing into a few months and save and also hopefully help them morph into something better.

Interesting. I get enough from Amazon Prime to subscribe outright. But it might be close. Basically getting Prime Video for free is a no-brainer.

To be fair, I'm probably flushing $150 per year. They don't always have the best prices, and it's pretty unusual that I really need something delivered in a few days.
