How to Beat SEA…Run at Bush, and Run at Bush Often

Post by LakecrestSteeler » Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:40 am

Looks like Bush will be elevated due to injury and will be playing a bunch of snaps!

If they do not run at him every play Tomlin is the biggest fool!

If there is anyone on this board that thinks Bush wasn’t that bad or it was exaggerated think again. He was a complete fraud and coward of a football player. Bush will do whatever it takes to avoid tackling Harris and Warren. I can’t wait to watch this. Watch for incorrect on purpose angles to the tackle. Late jumping on to a pile to act like he was part of the play. Sprints to the sideline to help push the ball carrier out of bounds. Watch for completely getting removed from running lanes as if the wash from the ocean was too strong. And another classic Bush move, watch for the side car tackle where he never challenges a runner head on, and will attempt to let them go buy and then grab the runner from the side as if he was a sidecar on a motorcycle!

Harris and Warren should both average 5 yards per run at Bush and most likely for the game. Would not be surprised if Bush leaves the game with an injury too.

Whether Pickett or Rudolph plays an easy victory can be had by running at Bush every snap until they replace him. He is that much of a liability. If I knew that was the game plan I would put $1000 on the Steelers to win and cover the spread.

I suppose there is always the chance he could decide to have a PCP game against us to get revenge…I doubt it!

You realize that would involve targeting an opponent's specific weakness and exploiting it, right? Not exactly our strong suit.

One tackle and two assists?

Lets see how he backs up his mocking tweet from a few weeks back. How many Bush Pile On's over/under?

Blame Tomlin, not Bush though

If he has a mediocre game, that will be the game of his life.

Send him an inside blitz when Warren is there in protection.

Curious.

The Duck Hodges game at LAC soccer stadium with all the pink stuff? That was a pretty good day. He had a scoop and score I do believe maybe just a scoop and nice return.

Good grief, if this were to happen!

The only way this happens is if we go to a 50 pass game by some strange reason and he gets and interception and takes it to the house. It will be a seagull interception where someone else will do the work and he will get it off the bounce.

He worries about head injuries to a debilitating degree is my working theory. So he can’t have the game of his life in the run stopping department. I will have the virtual isolation cam on him the whole game. I love watching him sham his way out of football work and contact. The worst Inside Middle Linebacker in the history of the NFL!

I peeked over on a Seahawks board…they are still hopeful for Bush success:

I watched last week’s game. Bush was awful. Same old stuff. He didn’t sniff any contact with Henry. His tackles were 99% ride ‘em cowboy…getting dragged for yards or initiating the tackle after 5 yards. He was blocked so so many times like he was in a shopping cart.

The Seahawks survived playing 10 man defense. And won…not sure how, but they won.

Bush was in probably about 60ish percent of the snaps.

I’ll be watching the injury report today.

Metcalf suddenly showed up on the injured report as unable to practice yesterday due to some unspecified back issue.

Interesting.

Pretending you are trying to tackle when you purposely take the wrong angle. I honestly believe he does this.

OK- not sure why he made that post as a response to my post about BK Metcalf (whom Carroll has said will play).

Yes…that made absolutely zero sense. I was driving and I was thinking their LB Brooks when I read Metcalf.

I offered $100 for every new Fury account opened by the end of the year using keyword SteelerDayTrader or STD, plus I told them you’d match up to $500 on any new Fidelity account opened with International Skimmed Milk Powder futures!

They also said you had the most insightful posts in all of Furydom! :D

In case you missed it Bush was awful! He was used and abused…never in plays. Running by plays. Pretending to set an edge. Running to the sidelines to get a faux hit. Standing around while Harris moves the pile into the end zone. Just an awful fraud of a football player

So in other words…he was Devin Bush.

Thought replay of Harris stiff arm showed Bush laughing after play as he headed back to defensive huddle.
Anyone else see this?

Tomlin moved up in the draft to take Bush.

Great eye for talent, Tomlin has 😒
