The extra-long corner settled in quickly as the Steelers' CB1. Porter's gritty, relentless approach makes life miserable for wideouts forced to face him on the island.
Loved this pick and love it even more after the season.

I hated the pick bc I am sick tired of high draft picks with 6 degrees of separation from Tomlin, but thank Christ I'm not running the team. Kid turned out to be an absolute baller.

Remember when he used to rot on the bench because a couple of old overpaid bums had to be out there…. Good times!

Remember when posters here were threatening to throw their TVs across the room on draft day if we took him with a first-round nepotism pick? I do.

JPJ easily played at the level of a first round pick.

He is really impressive and he's still learning the game. VERY happy from what I've seen so far. He' has some of his Dad's fire but I think he's a little more under control..lol... Maybe another training camp with PP wouldn't hurt things either. Lots to learn there.
