Kamal Hadden, lots of ability and impact when on the field, but injuries and emotional imbalance concerns have been expressed. A solid late round prospect if he falls into the 5th.

He's got 4-year-old problems
Definitely another BPA pick for the vikings.

I watched two games and I'm convinced Liufau is the worst LB I've watched since Devin Bush. No, second worst because there's another guy in this class who is hideous.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 11:18 pmMarist Liufau

So, it's that stage of the draft, is it? Okay. I got you.

I wish RB would be addressed much sooner but I don’t hate the late flier on Ali

I was really torn between Ali & Watson. Ali has played at a slightly higher level for longer-- lots of touches, though-- and Watson has really come on strong late in his college career. Watson is a little older and more of a one-year wonder, but he'd be a perfect fit in Pittsburgh if they'd ever consider moving away from the plodding type.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 3:45 pmI wish RB would be addressed much sooner but I don’t hate the late flier on Ali

I really like Turner and Legette—I’m a bigger fan than most. I still have some hope for Jones but he’s a project—worth taking at pick 197.jebrick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:54 pmFalcons are done in their draft

First time, in all my drafts, I've had this much firepower -- it's fun.
As for Liufau, I was drafting for depth at this point. In a weaker IBL draft class, that was already picked thru, he's what I got. For a late 5th round pick, if he turns into more than depth or a ST ace I'll be happy. Above-average starter and I'll be ecstatic!

The Chiefs are decently pleased how their draft went. As with many of you, quite a frustrating experience as some guys get picked right before pick….and the n I made a trade with team and they take the player you think will be there four picks later…you know who you…
1.30 Xavier Worthy WR Texas
Worthy helps make this offense explosive again with his speed, in addition to the offseason acquisition of Hollywood Brown. Mahomes wants to show off his arm strength again.
3.68 Leonard Taylor, DT, Miami
It seems like every year I do this, I have a strong intent to keep improving the Chiefs DL…enter Leonard Taylor. Here’s a talented guy who hasn’t always showed up on the stat sheet, but the Chiefs are confident that they can coach him up and maybe show out a little more with Chris Jones next to him. Really good at the point of attack, just needs to be more consistent and is the type of athlete who can translate well to the NFL.
3.95 Khyree Jackson, CB, Oregon
For the purpose of this exercise, while I knew L’Jarius Sneed hadn’t been traded yet…I knew it was just a matter of time. Jackson seemed like a kid who could step in who can turn, run, and do it all while being 6’3”ish. He joins a talented room of other long, athletic DBs that the Chiefs have done a nice job developing.
4.131 Walter Rouse, LT, Oklahoma
A guy who may not be the most nimble compared to other LTs in this draft class, but generally locks down opponents if he can get his mits on him. Still convinced that the Chiefs are either going to bring back Donovan Smith or even kick the tires on a guy like David Bakhtiari. Rouse can either battle with Wanya Morris or develop more on the bench.
5.173 Gabe Hall, DT, Baylor
Not too many guys who are 6’6” 300lbs that move like Gabe here…hoping he can learn and develop behind Chris Jones, who likely signed his last big time contract this spring. If the Chiefs can continue to give Coach Spagnuolo athletic defensive linemen, we’re confident that he can repeat the success he’s had as one of the greatest coordinators of all time.
6.180 Jamari Thrash, WR, Louisville
Been a draft favorite of mine since the beginning, all the way back to when he played at Georgia State. He’s got the speed to threaten vertically as well as previous mentioned WRs, but his even bigger asset is his versatility. He can play outside and in the slot, while also being a pretty good route runner.
6.218 Daijun Edwards, RB, Georgia
A recurring theme, I wanted to get more explosive. I tap the Georgia pipeline of good RBs who have a lot of talent but haven’t been featured runners. Can help out in the passing game but can tote the rock in the middle if needed.

So, A. as a reminder: I will be on vacation in Mexico starting tomorrow. I should have text and internet and time up until I land in mid afternoon... but:
1. please keep an eye on the board and make your picks. We breezed through this thing, which is great because of point #2
2. We will round up GMs next week and start the 5th Annual Draft-A-Team on approximately Mar 31st... so save your strength... it's marathon, not a sprint
3. Please let me know if you're the kind of masochist who is "in" for Draft-A-Team!
