Bad news about Cam Sutton
This doesn't sound good, hope he turns up soon:

Sutton's been released by the Lions amid the police search for him.
I'm thinking he might be a dumbfuck.
Not completely sure, but it's possible.

So, does he get the additional $10.5M guaranteed they still owe him from signing or do you guys think there's a clause (I assume there has to be) that gets them out of it in a situation like this?
They find him yet?

At this point you wonder if he is alive.

Very odd he hasn’t been located

I thought so too, but he has resurfaced alive and well: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootba ... s-a-family
If this is a one-off incident and out of his normal character, then maybe the Steelers should consider bringing him back. I don't remember hearing of any behavior problems when he was in Pittsburgh. Maybe a change of scenery would be good for him and his family. As I'm typing this, I see that Dejan Kovacevic is raising the same possibility.
There’s a better chance of him playing for the Mean Machine next season.…then maybe the Steelers should consider bringing him back.

Doubt it. He was charged with a single misdemeanor, so he's not going to prison. He might go to jail for a fee weeks, and he might get suspended for a few games by the league, but there are plenty of other NFL players who have done the same things as Sutton or worse (e.g. Tyreek Hill). Cam will be playing in the NFL this upcoming season, just getting paid far less than he would have been.

Probably. It won’t be for the Steelers.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 1:22 pmDoubt it. He was charged with a single misdemeanor, so he's not going to prison. Maybe not, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either. If the fight was over whether to baptize their kid, then the Steelers won't have a problem with it.Jobu wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 1:28 pmProbably. Florio removed his arrest-o-meter from his FrontPage Express "websight".
It brought too much negative attention to the anti-police corporate messaging of the NFL.
