Excellent pick!

Continuing to revamp the O-line by adding quality depth.

Good lord, all in on the oline!

An Isaac Seumalo replacement on the roster.

Given what was left on the board, I'm with you.

Khyree Jackson and Jordan Jefferson were both off the board-

Adding another Interior OLineman isn't a bad thing, but they seriously need DLine help/depth.

Looks like it's going to be next year.

3 picks in the first 4 rounds being O-Line is surprising.

Looks like a lot of the CBs and DL they were targeting have been picked over, though

That’s what you gotta do when you take Frazier at 51

Have to like what it looks like Andy Weidl and Omar Kahn have tried to accomplish with this draft and this pick.

With a 5th year option on Broderick Jones because he was a 1st Rounder last season, the Steelers can keep Jones / Fautanu / Frazier / McCormick together for the next 4 seasons should they choose.

Awesome!

Dig the player

9.96 RAS
Position versatility
3 time team captain so another culture fit

But
#2 WR
DL
AND
secondary still a mess

I know
I know
Rush and Trice
Meh

Maybe they’ll bring back Cam Sutton or some other street free agent.

It's a passing league and the other teams understand, the importance of Nickel CB.

The only failure of Khan/Tomlin in this draft, imo.

Overrating the CB room and the D in general.

You're hilarious.

Zach Frazier will be taking a steaming dump on your chest this coming season, and everyone on this board will laugh at you like they normally do.

What's the beef with Frazier? Or do you just think the value at 51 was poor?

Khan and Tomlin met with Cam Sutton least week. I think that is their plan for slot CB.

Well, I hope Meyer is the right guy for the job. No excuses, now. I suppose other than "bunch of rookies and new faces"....

Although I really do feel if they don't win a playoff game this year, the entire coaching staff will be gone. So this season really has no downside - Glass is fucking FULL. How's that for optimism!?!

Just about every Day 2 DB they were looking at went in early Round 2.

I'd rather they land a better prospect (at a position of need) than reach on a guy to fill a hole.

ABsolutely. Just too many examples of the STeelers denying they reached for a player when it's rather obvious they DID. And the results aren't pretty to say the least. Love the Oline picks but worry about the other areas of need.

Can't get it all in one draft..

Wish we had a conventional OL coach to coach these guys instead of the super genius Meyer.

Digging the attempt to create a dominant OL unit though.

I was only joking when I said they should go oline the entire draft.

I had a feeling they would draft a guard this year, it is only smart business.

James Daniels AND Nate Herbig are in the last year of their contracts. They have a combined cap hit of $16.627 million this year.

So, you draft a guard like McCormick in the 4th round this year, do the same next year and you can let Daniels and Herbig walk in 2025 and probably save some $14 million which can be used elsewhere on the roster.

Sucks that we didn't get a slot CB but I have a feeling that with the signing of Deshon Elliot, the Steelers will pivot and use Damonte Kazee as the slot CB. He has coverage skills, is a ballhawk, once led the NFL in interceptions and we know he isn't afraid to lay the wood, he can play the run. For one year, the last year of his contract, Kazee can play the nickel defender. And maybe they resign Sutton, of course, will he have some sort of suspension? Maybe miss a few games?? That is all kind of hazy.

Would have been nice to get that slot CB in round 4-5, but they went with McCormick in round 4 and we had no 5th round pick. Abrams-Draine, Jarvis Brownlee, Wade-Smith, all the remaining decent slot CBs went in that range. Can't get everything with a limited number of picks.
