Ugliest Draft Class Ever?

Logan Lee is a stud, but the rest? I wouldn't slap them with Rupaul's fat wiener.

Mason McCormick looks like the adult version of Bobby from King of the Hill.

And the Wilson brothers look like they shaved their pubes and glued them on top of the other's head.

Hopefully their play on the field isn't hampered by their historically awful looks.

Is Wilson just another Spillane?

Now I can not comment on these fine gentlemen's looks............

But, don't we win ugly?

Logan Lee #74 looks pretty stout.

I look forward to seeing these kids play in the pre-season.
I think we have 3 day one starters in Fautano, Frazier and Roma.

Potentially 4 starters in Payton Wilson....
and potentially 5 starters by this time next year with McCormick.

2023 and 2024 could turn into a bonanza.
Broderick, Porter, Benton, Washington, Herbig, Trice, Spencer Anderson.
Is Washington a starter in 2 TE sets?
I can see Herbig snap count at least doubling from his 191 defensive saps last year....or 100 more than last year.
How many drafts have we had in which all draft picks are still on team in year 2?

Can we potentially have 8-9 starters in the past 2 drafts?

The two key ingredients in getting lots of value from your draft classes are (1) draft well (2) have a bad roster. The browns ~10 years ago had no problem getting basically all of their drafted rookies onto the field each year. It’s not always a good thing.

Very different players, but even then.....If Wilson ends up as good as Spillane that's a win.

what does that even mean? I can’t imagine a less spillane-like LB than wilson unless i’m missing something?

Both white and rocking #41

I will add that almost everytime the Raiders were on TV last season Bobby Spillane was making big plays. We were all a bit envious of his play down the stretch.

Spillane was playing in a 4-3 w the Raiders.

Being in the middle with 3 or sometimes 4 DLinemen (I have no idea how often the Raiders are in Base D, but I'm assuming - it's about 30&) keeping the OLinemen off you, is a much different task than playing the middle with 2 down linemen 70% of the time.

Steelers are playing the same defense as the raiders like 2/3 of the time. So few snaps where Steelers had 3 IDL. In nickel, the ILBs play pretty much the same in either 4-3 or 3-4 base teams.

Spillane is arguably a better NFL LB than Patrick Queen, even though he’s slower and not as hyped.

If Hollywood looks correlated to football greatness, Mark Malone would be the Steeler GOAT.

It only works with the Patriots.
