Link for Sunday

Post by blu » Fri Sep 27, 2024 5:12 pm

I was wondering if someone has a link for Sunday's game? We're back home & had the best time at Acrisure last Sunday & am very grateful to the Steelers not just for a great game but getting far enough ahead & being in control so we could start leaving a few minutes early from the stadium & get on the T without being too overwhelmed by the exiting crowds.

Thanks, hopefully, we'll be back next year. The game was so much better than my first last year against Jacksonville when Kenny went down & Trubisky kept throwing the football to the Jaquars.

Awesome. I understand, a loss is always a huge downer. Makes the 5.5hr ride home crappy.

Sent you a couple messages/streams.

Let me know if you need a hand at all.

Pro tip: if you hit the play button and adds pop up, hit the back button and immediately hit the play button again. Most times about 3 tries and it usually plays for me.

You can just close the pop up(s) and then hit the play button until it takes you to the live stream

Ok gents

Stumbling on massive amount of free tv services after cutting the cord this week.

Pluto TV offers CBS KDKA in Pittsburgh. The channel list only goes up until tonight. If they normally broadcast the game on here CBS - per the tv coverage maps. I am in like flynn when east pa shuts down the game

https://pluto.tv/us/live-tv/5eb1b17aa5277e00083f6521

Free, no account needed. Just open a web browser. It's also a standard app on LG tv's and you can probably download the app to Samsung (also has a default free tv service - SamsungTV). I'm expecting to watch the game

Seems as once i disconnected the cable, these services are working. Hmmmm Fucking Cable

Yes. Thank you for adding this. Some of the streams I try this is actually how you get it to work. Some of them you can use the back button.

Does this work on phones too?

Never mind. I just looked it up.

I’d rather not pay for another app, service, stream etc etc etc

If you use Microsoft Edge or Chrome, add Ublock Origin and AdBlock to your browser. I have zero problems with pop-ups and I only watch stuff on free sites. Search for NFLbite if you are just looking for NFL. It's pretty reliable.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

So, I tried this and it works perfectly! I'm able to get KDKA within the Pluto app on my phone and through Roku on my TV. Amazing!

Thank you from a grateful Steelers fan in Maine!

Watched KDKA news last night, though. Was fun for nostalgia's sake.

I don’t think this will work for the game. Just local news and local broadcasts is my guess.

This link works for everything. Some sort of black magic that can’t last long before they shut it down!
