Does Doug Pederson survive today?
I say no.

Would Jax trade us any of their WR except for Brian Thomas Jr?
I’m sure they would want to keep him

Tomlin and Uncle Artie have completely lost me
I don’t want the Steelers throwing away draft capital simply for the sake of saving NHALS
But
If they do
DJ Moore would be my target
He was left out the Bears scoring party today
Bears GM not overly bright handing us the 33rd pick for crappy ass Claypool
AND
DJ Moore LOVES Justin Fields

Romeo Doubs with a TD. Maybe the Steelers will take note and try to get the pouting WR a TD in the first half.
George…if it’s not too much trouble, could you jog down to the Buick and do a button hook?stillthere wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 5:46 pmRomeo Doubs with a TD. Maybe the Steelers will take note and try to get the pouting WR a TD in the first half.

Scoring across the league is way up.

Brahns just tied up the Iggles on a block FG return for a TD. We should implement this strategy whenever possible.

NFL scoring is down in 2024, with teams averaging 21.4 points per game. This is the fifth consecutive year of declining scoring, and the lowest average since 2006.

I can’t comprehend the desire to trade for a WR with our current HC and OC. We don’t throw enough balls to keep one good WR happy, let alone 2 or 3.chippedhamsandwich wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 4:17 pmWould Jax trade us any of their WR except for Brian Thomas Jr?

I’m saying this week it is. A lot of teams are shaking off the offensive rust we saw the first 3-4 weeks.

Wow. What a pussy move by Saquon Barkley. Catches a 2nd and 1 swing pass with a full head of steam and instead of lower his shoulder for the first down, he daintily dances out of bounds for no gain. Stains sack Hurts on third down, then the greatest player to ever wear an NFL uniform blocks the FG and Stains return it for a TD!

Teams scoring all over the place.
Watch we will put up 6 points again in the first half.

We can rip Tomlin about easing into the season, but with the extra game and 7th playoff spot seems most teams approach those first 3-4 games as extended preseason.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 6:23 pmI’m saying this week it is. It’s true. And preseason is over. We should be 4-1 right now at least and they’ve screwed two games in a row..Kodiak wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 6:32 pmWe can rip Tomlin about easing into the season, but with the extra game and 7th playoff spot seems most teams approach those first 3-4 games as extended preseason.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 6:23 pmI’m saying this week it is. Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Same goes for spending premium draft capital on a WR IMO.

I didn't see the game but looked at the box score. Levis put up just 86 yards passing on 26 passes. How is that even possible? Looks like one of Najee's games.

Levis makes Kenny Pickett look like an actual NFL starter.
Rudolph was shaking his head watching Levis.

Joe Burrow with a 47 yard TD run was not on my bingo card.
