Kudos to Big Naj. He finally looked like what you expect to see when you say 1st round Alabama RB. Was last night his best performance ever in the NFL?

If you don’t take the opponent into account, definitely! Even with the poor opponent it might have been his best.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 5:53 pmKudos to Big Naj. Could have been better.
Imagine if you will a #77 that can move and block a defender.

This should have been Najee one v one with the safety at the 50 instead it ends up a cluster fuck at the 45

You really hate to give up on a guy that’s not even halfway through his second season , but he’s looking more and more like another swing and miss!stillthere wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:53 pmCould have been better.

As a pure runner, to me it was his best game. That ankle breaker in the middle of the field where the defender didn't even sniff him? I can't think of another juke he's made that was that good.
For all my criticisms, the dude is running his ass off. Much respect to him. I don't have any interest in bringing him back next year, especially with the RB draft class coming in, but hopefully he'll get us a decent comp pick in '26.

Was the 36 yd TD run his longest TD run?
He is also looking lighter and leaner then ever.

We can be critical of Najee for several reasons, but effort isn’t one of them. The guy always busts his ass on the field!

His 188 yard performance vs Cleveland his rookie year was better.
Don’t worry. He will figure it out. At least that’s what Jibbs told me.Jobu wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:56 pmYou really hate to give up on a guy that’s not even halfway through his second season , but he’s looking more and more like another swing and miss!stillthere wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:53 pmCould have been better.

Meanwhile, a competent staff will turn him into a pro bowler once we give up on him.

They may have to move him to guard and limit his options on plays.955876 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 2:18 amDon’t worry. He will figure it out.
