Fire Tomlin -
Deuce is perfectly fine with Tomlin. He will prob give Jibbs a raise after they get their asses kicked by Cincy and then extend him by 7 years after getting beat 45-12 in the wildcard game.
After that Eagles loss I knew they’d not win another game this year.

WHERE WOULD YOU EVER FIND ANYONE BETTER.
Forget about Campbell turning around the Lions, that's an outlier.

Nope. He will be let go after the Bengals and playoff loss!

Bold prediction. Have you not seen how Deuce loves him some Jibba Jabba?

Team looks like they have quit, just like their coach quit the last 3 weeks...I'm sure most of the players are ready for some schemes and game plans that give them a chance to compete, not this BS of the same ole plan week after week and year after year, so stale.

Same EXACT game 3 weeks in a row now. No change, no adjustments or ingenuity shown.
Next week's gonna be even harder than these 3 games cause Cinci is itching to slaughter us. Nothing left but hope for the Steelers to come out healthy & strong in the playoffs.
New O coord, D coord, TE coach, 2ndry coach, young 1st rd QB, new RB, 2 WRs & 2 D-Lineman in the off season & we will be alright. Tomlin's win streak will be safe in the years ahead.

It really did feel like groundhog day. Same shitty gameplan all 3 weeks in a row and of course, same clueless Game Day mismanagement from the sidelines.
So sad to completely waste what was a promising season.
After the win against Baltimore is actually had hope that this season would be different. Unfortunately, starting with that abomination at Cleveland, this team looked an awful lot like the 2018 collapse.... emphasis on the word AWFUL!

Are Bengals´ hopes for play-off dead if they lose to Broncos on Saturday?

Yes - They currently have 7 wins. With the Chargers and Broncos both already having 9 wins, Cincy must win out to get to 9 wins. A loss to the Broncos puts their max wins at 8, which isn't enough.

His answer in the postgame interview is the real problem. He relies on getting a bunch of turnover and not committing any just to win a game by 3 points. There is no plan or strategy to outscheme a team and blow them out. It’s just force turnovers, get cheap points, and hope and pray to hang on to a win in the 4th qtr. he genuinely seems lost and baffled when they don’t win the turnover battle in a big way. He’s got no other way to win

At this point I want who I wanted last year, Bob Johnson. Give him JF to see if he can turn him around. All JF has had is Neanderthal defensive HC's who are terrified of scoring. Tomlin had a prime HOF Ben R and did absolutely nothing in the 2010's. Time to move on

I’m not so sure you can coach away Fields’ issue. Namely, he doesn’t see the field for shit

"His answer in the postgame interview is the real problem. He relies on getting a bunch of turnover and not committing any just to win a game by 3 points."
That's a strategy for a 12 game season in the sixties.
In a 17 game season it will never work because defensive injuries will inevitably limit your ability to do that.

Additionally, as I said in the game thread, when he runs into these offenses that go for it on 4th down quite frequently (Eagles and Chefs), it stresses the scenario even more that you highlight above. He is doing absolutely nothing in the game plan to counter. He comes into the game down 7 not realizing that he will lose TOP/Series counts automatically because he does nothing on the offensive side to increase risk and increase possessions.

If it is not, then the blame has to fall elsewhere and it would seem the coaching staff doesn't want to look in that other direction.

Tomlin
No Tomlin
Won’t make one bit of difference in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is doomed until some other Rooney cleans house early in his life. Including all the entire FO/Admin and office staff
He will need to be young and bold. So you’ll need some middle aged Rooney to die young
The Steelers organization top to bottom and the huge portion of their fanbase believe in outdated football like it’s a religion. And just like religion as time moves on it gets worse and worse. Even more entrenched
If you told the Steelers and their fanbase they could be an offensive focused team heavily reliant on passing and be guaranteed to win multiple Lombardis OR they could be a defensive focused team that occasionally lays down some big hits and MAYBE if they got real lucky compete for a single Lombardi with no guarantee if actually winning
I can promise you the large majority of their fanbase and organization would choose option 2. And be smug and devout about it
Not kidding at all
The Steelers aren’t ever gonna be a serious longterm competitor again
To this day most of them won’t admit Bradshaw and Roethlisberger carried everyone else. And. Deep down they know it’s true. And worst of all. They hate them for it
