My opinion?
I can find better “analysis“ on personal fans websites[wink, wink] blogs, podcasts, X accounts and even YouTube.
I haven’t watched bspn in an over a decade for anything analysis from their talking heads.
Same for nfl network and their usual flavor of the league bullshit talking heads.
All Garbage.

Can't really argue...i tend to watch the espn shows on monday this year, now that I'm retired. Some good stuff from orlovsky...and sometimes Shannon sharpe, believe it or not. But inevitably, there's the mvp convo...and I just don't careSteelafan77 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 7:41 pmMy opinion?

A lot of people here cared who was 2nd in DPOY voting last year. I only care about that 9th win because that’s what the owners care about.

We have a Schroedinger's Art of Not Giving a Fuck Problem here.
As soon as you post about this issue, it means you give a fuck so the only way to not give a fuck is to not post but then no one knows where you stand.
So really the only way to be sure someone doesn't give a fuck is if they're dead.
That being said, I think Allen and Barkley should share it this year.

I can understand why Watt cares about it. He's never going to get a ring with this team so all he has is individual accolades.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 9:01 pmI didn't give a fuck about DPOY eitherSteelperch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:24 pmA lot of people here cared who was 2nd in DPOY voting last year. I feel bad for Cam.
I feel bad for Watt.
I feel bad for Minkah.
“Being a fan is fine, but there is a line you can cross that makes it really unhealthy,” said Ken Yeager, PhD, a mental health expert in the department of psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Why do you feel bad for Minkah? Because of his incredible season of game changing plays that will be rendered meaningless by an early exit in the playoffs?Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 11:42 pmI can understand why Watt cares about it. Is anyone in the HOF that never won a single playoff game?Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 11:42 pmI can understand why Watt cares about it. He's never going to get a ring with this team so all he has is individual accolades.

Barry Sanders? Honestly don’t know, just a guess.
Actually went back and looked it up - they won ONE playoff game during his career - 1991 over the Cowboys.
How about some of the Stillers who made the HOF and played pre-1972? Ernie Stautner? Jack Butler? Looks like John Henry Johnson won with the Lions.

How many playoff games did Butkis and Ditka and Sayers win? Those teams were not good despite having good players.
Update: just confirmed that Ditka did in 1964 but Butkus and Sayers never even played in one.
