The one penalty ruining pro football

Illegal contact, or Mel Blount rule. Two min into 2nd half of jets-bills and there's been 14 penalties

This rule doesn't exist in college football, for the better

Remember every rule has been created for players safety and not to sway the outcome of games for the Vegas crowds.

The worst penalty rule in the NFL is the OL being able to reach out and pointer touch a defender who is in the neutral zone but has a chance to get back before the snap. OTs not illegal for him to go into the neutral zone and OL pretend they were drawn into a false start.

The proliferation of flags makes some of these games nearly unwatchable
