Steelers Sign a Player I Love

Post by bradshaw2ben » Fri Feb 21, 2025 10:44 pm

Donald Parham, Jr. (one-time Los Angeles Charger and Stetson Hatter), who was the B2B Directional State POY was signed to a 1-year contract.

Has had a couple of injury issues, but he is a very good receiving TE. I hope it works out,.

Surely you kid.

Not that he’s not a good receiving TE, but that it’ll actually matter.

He could catch a big gainer down the seam then not get another snap for the next 6 weeks.

Do what we do.

Anything to knock Connor Heyward from the TE rotation I’m all for though. Hope he works out.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Some of his work near the goal line. Now if we can get a competent QB

Smith wants TEs. Well kick Tomlin in the ballsack and tell hi. To sit the fuck down
Tomlin PC 1/14/25 -“‘Stuck’ is a helpless feeling. I don’t feel helpless,” Tomlin said. “I don’t know if I want to sell you an overly optimistic (tone) either.

It would take Tom Brady in his prime to take over the offense and tell Tomlin to fuck off to have any shot of being a contender.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Kind of hard to make big use of TE's when you avoid the middle of the field at the highest rate in the league.

I had another Hatter in my Directional State team in 2023:
B2B For The Love Of The Game Award: Ja’Veon Ensley, Stetson
When you love football and you’re just trying to find someone who will give you a chance, sometimes you do what you gotta do. Ensley is like the college football version of the NFL journeyman backup QB who has seemingly been on every roster in the league. He started out at D2 New Haven, where he earned All-Freshman honors, with 3 TFL & 2 INTs. He then transferred to the Juco ranks, and was 1st All-Juco with 4 INTs and a pick 6 for Brooklyn’s famed ASA College program. He then transferred to Staten Island’s Wagner College in the FCS, where he started in the 2019 season, only to have their 2020-21 season shortened to just two games. He then transferred as a grad student to Stetson University in Florida and finished 2nd in the FCS with 6 INTs. Four schools in six years––that’s a lot of love of football. And he’s not just some try-hard guy– he’s got great size at 6’2″ 194lbs and is a playmaker in the backfield, in man coverage underneath, and as a deep safety.

But when you only play outside the numbers you can be home by 5:00 every night for dinner.

Can't wait for the Steelers to employ the first ever 6 TE formation.
"A sedan is usually functional. This offense looks more like a broken down 80’s chevette being driven by 85 year old Chinese woman."
