What kind of stat line do we see Roman Wilson putting up in his rookie season?

50, 9 ypc, 3 tds. And then downhill from there, like Troy Edwards.

no realistic way to guesstimate until it's determined-
IF the sign another receiver, with the clear objective of starting that player.
IF Aaron Rodgers signs.
Both of those factors would have a significant impact on the passing game and Wilson's role.
That being said- unless he's become a strong run blocker, I imagine he'll be on the sideline most of the game, no matter either the listed factors.
IF he's decided he wants to block, he has a chance at playing
IF the sign another receiver, with the clear objective of starting that player.

Not being facetious when I say that will be CA3's role.
The only way R Wilson gets significant PT is if CA3 is injured. They're essentially the same slot guy the Steelers want.
He and CAIII are #3 or #4 WRs at best.
Not here though. Here they are expected to be 2s or worse, step into the #1 roll when their only bonafide WR gets dinged or really injured.

Buuuut we could regress back to a couple pages from Canada’s playbook and Tomlin will be enamored with CA3’s speed; why squander it on jet sweeps when you can have him run wind sprints all game for the 2 completions per game for the 25 yard sideline acrobatic Willie Mays catch on 3rd and 26.

And I loved Roman Wilson the player. I think he can carve out a semi decent pro career. But the pick seemed odd considering CA3 was already on the roster. Just reeked of redundancy when Art Smith's offense calls for physical boundary WR's.
