I am personally done with the Bullshit with waiting on this has been. The Steelers are turning into a joke allowing AR to dictate this. Art and Omar to allow this is a joke. I can’t see a QB at 21. It will be a DL, likely Harmon or Nolen.

I'm actually expecting to read any day that Russ has re-upped with the Steelers. In any event, I dont think it's a QB first round.

The DK trade makes connecting the dots back to Russ fairly obvious, but I've read more than once that Artie Smith isn't a Russ fan so I'm HOPING we don't run that back.

Yeah, this is what I think. Hell, they may even draft a QB at 1.21 IF they sign Rodgers, seeing it as sort of a one year deal.

As I said, we're going to find out who has the balls in the org to stand up to Tomlin. We're also going to find out if anyone in the org has a clue about QB evaluation and drafting.

I really see this as Tomlin's going to be all about adding a QB to this glorious team I have that can win a SB if it only gets this one piece, and Wiedl being more like my thinking of: no point in adding a bad QB when you still have a long ways to go in building the team, especially the trenches.

Mason is a better person and a better mentor for a guy like Dart. Rudolph is the perfect back up QB to help a kid like Dart who has arm talent and can read defenses, to thrive.

Don't buy Tomlin's bullshit here because unless they trade down, they aren't taking Milroe who will be around in the 2nd round.

I saw a report that was analyizing Milroe and concluded that he stands like a RB rather than a QB when he is trying to throw the ball. i'll see if I can dig it up

I have no problem with the Milrose pick for must see TV. Does this preclude them from drafting another QB in 2026?

Could rebuild the DL trenches with 2 round 2 DL picks and then for the OL, poaching Jeff Stoutland from the Eagles to inject life into the O-line, which would probably be better than any O-line draft pick. And then wait for the clock to run out on you know who.

I don’t disagree, Wil, but did Tomlin come to that realization AFTER he acquired Wilson? I’m with you in that I feel like Tomlin has been commenting on QB mobility for years and the desire to get someone that possesses that.

So why did Tomlin go Wilson over Fields? By all reports that was 100 percent Mike’s choice, even to the chagrin of Arthur Smith. If he wanted a mobile QB he had one on the roster that just led the team to a 4-2 record.

So we switch to Wilson? Was it a promise he made Russell that he felt he had to keep? Was it some kind of Christian brotherhood thing? Was it because he finds Ciara attractive?

I don’t think Mike Tomlin even knows because if he’s not talking out of his ass then something is wrong. He’s a dummy and he’s ruined this franchise.

My lipmus test is when a college QB MUST play heroball. Must put the game on his shoulders and Dart fails that one on his throws and his decisions. I would not take him in the 1st. nor would i take a QB that can't throw but I think that is where we are going. No Khanlin dinner with Dart which is telling.

I always watch the draft on my $250 Roku TV in the basment, not the expensive one in the family room

since Milroe has hit the Steeler Trifecta of pre draft meetings, they are all but drafting him and might even trade up which will cost me a TV.

I'll be on spring break, so I'll hopefully be buzzed enough to find it funny by the time 1.21 rolls around Thursday night.

MOST fans of the Steelers are probably desperate (I'm not)

Omar Khan might be desperate since he holds the GM "title."

Uncle Artie might be mildly desperate fi he wants to keep coaching in the NFL (it's not a money thing with daddy being a billionaire)

He knows what he will get with Fields ( one read QB throws a crappy deep ball) vs the possibility of Milroe. Rudolph is a better QB to tutor Milroe than Fields. Milroe needs to learn to throw the ball with the correct mechanics. He does not need lessons in running the ball.
