Been Reading that the Steelers will get
That exclusive #2 Wr And most have said it will be via a trade. Whom do you think Omar Targeted snd hopefully not Lazard
Rest assured whoever it is will be below the line. If you will.
Should have just kept Pickens in a contract year. Especially if they knew they were signing Rogers.
Rudderless ship.
Can’t wait till till DK gets dinged and we have the tiny tots CAIII and Roman Wilson starting.
Maybe we can bring back Dri Archer too.

Exactly my thoughts. Felt all along there was a back door hand shake and that AR would sign. Would have liked to have Pickens paired with DK but you know, our fake coach or whomever wanted to ship him out in a contract yearly. Plenty of reasons to hate Tomlin, but trading off Pickens' childish ass and getting a third round pick for him--in a contract year--isn't one of them. Pickens was going to be a disastrous cancer even if he had played this year and not sat out, he's dumber than dog shit, a selfish pussy who crumbles instantly at even a whiff of adversity, and ultimately this team is going nowhere this year or next so might as well get an asset back for someone who was not going to be on the team next year.
*reserves the right to roots for losses*
Pickens a dipshit. Certainly.
I bet he plays good soldier this year though so he can get a contract somewhere. Or maybe instead of good soldier just not an awful one. Plenty of opps for a WR with Rogers at QB to make plays in a contract year.
Instead we get to see how pathetic it’ll be to line up some scrub as WR II.
Again
Rogers is a one year rental. Pickens same boat.
We were a better offense with him though.
Just hard to trust their plan is it not?
I’m certainly not excited about any of the dregs they plan to stick at WR 2 at this point.

Until Rooney Tomlin Khan and Weidl are gone nothing else matters
Unless…..the Steelers luck into a Bradshaw or Roethlisberger type talent at QB

Agreed with the first part of that post STD….sans Khan/Weidl
Can’t agree with second half. Even with generational talent.
Why? We’ve seen what this STAFF does to neuter that individual talent.
They fall short time and again. Fraudlin requires a full staff and full team of studs for championship level success.
Even then it’s 50/50. Remember fraudlin won 1 and lost 1 with Staff and individual player talents accrued by his predecessor.

I not sure about Weidl but Tomlin needs to go the Steelers need to move forward
Unless Art Smith scraps his 11 personnel what good is a WR2 going to be here?
Believe we ran this grouping like 70% of the time...by far the leader in the NFL

Yeah, I'm not ready to shit on Khan. He's been more proactive in obtaining outside talent than any GM we've had here....maybe ever, and most of his moves have made sense in the moment that they were made (I hate the Rodgers signing, mostly because I can't stand the guy. But from an objective standpoint, even if he sucks out loud, it doesn't really negatively affect the team at all after this season, which no one is expecting us to compete in anyways).Steelafan77 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 08, 2025 3:00 amAgreed with the first part of that post STD….sans Khan/Weidl

The biggest issue, of course, has been the lack of a legitimate quarterback, but I strongly believe that Khan has been working these past two years to position the team to load up on a single draft with a strong QB class as opposed to going out and overpaying a mediocre guy a long term contract that sandbags the organization even longer than it already has. All the evidence with this plan is there with our accumulated draft picks. And that's a plan I endorse.
The other thing to judge him on is draft picks, although that's difficult to do because we don't know which are his and which are Tomlin's. But even with that said, I feel like we've been getting good value with the picks, even if the jury is still out on if some of them are going to fully reach their potential (Jones, Porter, Fuatanu). Which again, is that because they were bad picks, or because Tomlin and his staff can't develop players properly?

Will be interested to see formations this season and what Rogers is aloud to do or how he’s factoring into all of it. AR loves to run 3 WR sets.

I think AR will do his own thing
