4 TD's to no picks for a dude in his 40's doesn't garner a Doorslammer?

A-A-Rod kinda had to rely on prayer and Rodgers still can't win an award.

He had to be scared shitless back there throwing.

Gainwell and Skowronek for honorable mention by forcing and recovering the STs fumble.

I was about to bitch about Highsmith at the half because he was fucking INVISIBLE the first 30 minutes, but something lit a fire under his ass in the second half.

He played like a man possessed.

Yep! Wasn't he supposed to go into the fetal position with all that against him? I'm pretty sure someone here has said that about him.

Thought Payton Wilson deserved an honorable mention as well.

That was the turning point of the game.

Steelers were chasing all game and they got the momentum from that recovery.
Also, wtf did Aaron Glenn go for 2 so early? Dumb...at worst the game should have went to OT

They had missed the XP, but the Steelers were flagged for a penalty so tey started from the one for the two point try.

When you have a guy like Fields, that's a good risk to take.

Eh I just have a different philosophy in not going for 2 unless it's in the 2nd half.

For What?! He & Scam were getting bulldozed all game long. Jets ran right at both of them and they got mauled and did nothing to stop the run.

He was consistently collapsing the pocket in his pass rushes.

I didn't notice that at all in the first half. At all.

Will definitely re-watch but Highsmith looked like a different player in the second half.

I think the whole defense got an earful at the half.

And Gojira above makes a great point. The Jets were running RIGHT AT Heyward and Highsmith in the first half and were gashing them for huge yards.

I had more of a problem with the play they called...an unimaginative plunge up the gut, and not even towards the left side where they hammered our D.
