Per Florio, Steelers could be a player if Tyreke becomes available, they have draft capital, and prob would cost more than a 4th, would definitely make this season more interesting, dude definitely wants out of Miami, as do most of their players.

Hill is a scumbag and his addition isn't going to win this team anything.

The draft capital they have is the only sliver of hope fans have for the future (if they have a brain). It's to try and get a QB for the long term. Wasting it on a one trick pony WR who is 31 and won't age well who has a shit attitude would be fucking stupid.

Hill's an idiot. No question about it, but he's still a baller.

Dolphins players are watching Tua flame out in slow motion because of too man shots to the dome. He's gun shy and Tua's next hit is going to put him into retirement.

Turns out Brian Flores was right about Tua and got fired for not wanting anything to do with him. I feel bad for Mike McDaniel who is an excellent offensive mind and Tua is going to cost McDaniel his job.

You put Tyreke Hill on a team full of leaders like Rodgers, Heyward, Watt, DK, Queen, Freiermuth, Slay and as much as I hate to say it, Tomlin and I'll bet you he fucking GOES OFF.

Hill is still as dangerous as ever and so is Jaylen Waddle. They just happen to have a shitty QB who plays like he's afraid of getting hit.

This and it’s time that this organization answers a fucking question about Roman Wilson. Is this dude a total moron or is he an NFL receiver? Because if he’s the latter then time to crap or get off the pot. The train be moving.

And yet those same “leaders” couldn’t get previous talented but shithead WRs DJ or Pickens to be good lil soldiers. So much so both had to be traded.

But they’ll do it now with this particular shithead? Not very consistent logic on your part.

You were also proclaiming CAIII or Roman Wilson would be fine as WRII given Arthur Smith’s TE heavy scheme and thus a lack of targets for WR2.

But now Hill would “go off” if he was here. Again, not very consistent on your part.

His talent would make our offense better so I’m not disagreeing there.

Not sure I’d want to give up draft picks for him though because I don’t think we are a legit contender with our current LT, stable of RBs, and wet paper towel d-line.

The guy is 31 and a complete piece of garbage. He'd be a short term rental that the Dolphins would demand way too much for. And for what? So maybe they win a playoff game if they're lucky (they won't, anyway).?

And right on cue, this sack of shit is once again being accused of domestic violence to include accusations that he hit his wife while pregnant.

Neither DJ or Pickens are anywhere near the class of receiver Tyreek Hill is.

Not even close.

If the Steelers truly are trying to win right now with an old QB, fucking Tyreek Hill for a 4th rounder?

Oh fuck yes, former Dolphins Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey already paid off big yesterday.

Hill is at a different level than those guys.

If the Steelers are about the future (with a 42 year old QB?) then I wouldn’t deal for Hill.

If they are trying to win now, fuck yes I make that trade.

But don’t worry, he’ll probably end up back in KC, Baltimore or Buffalo.

Fair enough. Hope you recognize my reason for questioning your logic. As it is inconsistent.

I’d much rather have Hill vs CAIII, Pickens, and especially Roman Wilson if we are trying to win now.

The problem is this team believes it’s trying to win now when in reality that is a fucking joke.

This team doesn’t have the coaching to make a deep playoff run and win a SB.

Hill would make us better though. Agreed.

They aren’t mutually exclusive though. We do need a better threat at WR2.

We also need a better LT.

Jibbs will figure it out though. He knows there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I know it's just 1 game, but CA3 should have put the WR2 concerns to bed. He and Rodgers obviously have a rapport.

Perhaps they should be looking for a fat body on defense to top the run rather than a WR they do not need. And does anyone think that the Steelers would use him correctly?

The Dolphins should be starting a fire sale within 3 weeks. Tua was terrible.

On my daily ride to work, I catch the last 30 minutes of ESPN radio’s up all night.

Dude played a clip of Dan Orlovsky saying Tyreek hasn’t had a reception of over 30 yards in over a year dating back to the ‘phins opening week matchup against the Jags.

Now, that dubious streak could coincide with Tua’s poor play at the QB or position or the poor coaching by “McGenius” or “Nerd Boy” as Rex Ryan so aptly referred to Mike McDaniel in his Monday “Get Up” rant.

Either way Hill is not worth the money or the headache.

i think we’re all ok with austin as a top 3 WR, it’s the overall wr depth chart situation that’s the problem.

Legitimate NFL teams have #2/#3 WR tandems that create problems for defenses. Just in the AFC, we have:

allen/johnston
Bateman/hopkins
worthy/brown/schuster/thronton
coleman/palmer
higgins/iosivas

As wr depth charts (removing the #1 guys). Calvin Austin isn’t an embarrassing name to put down on our list. Skowronek is, and at this point, Wilson isn’t even a name at all.

But as others have said, we currently appear to have issues at at least OL, WR, DL, and S as well as WR.

Edit: maybe i should add RB to the list. Gainwell, apparently our new feature back, now has 64 yards over 32 carries on his last 5 regular season games. I don’t think our oline is dramatically better than philly’s in a way that i would expect that to improve moving forward. Best guess is Kaleb combines Najee-like mediocrity running the ball, but lacks Najee’s blocking and route running which makes him worthless as a rotational backup.

That’s where I’m at. I like CAIII. just think he’s a MUCH better #3 than a 2 and especially a 1 if DK misses any time.

i agree that dont want Hill on the Steelers for a number of reasons - in decline; a headache and this is all under the misguided belief that they will win anything more than NHALS this year -- I beleive Tomlins only ral goal is to win one playoff game and avoid being stuck with the record for playoff futility

I also agree that its Tua that ultimately dragged Miami down and their focus on speed they got too many players that physically cant make it through a full season at full capacity. Whoever made the decision that Tua was the franchise QB was wrong. Unfortunately, Miami is going to have to totally re-build

Hill is clearly in decline (and probably disinterested/distracted).

And I know you want Mike McDaniel to be the Steelers next OC once he’s fired in Miami, but man he’s one strange little fella and is at least PART of the problem (Clearly Rex Ryan isn’t a fan).

I too want a legitimate NFL offense to be paired with a young franchise signal caller.

I’d prefer the Steelers look elsewhere.

“McGenius” is WAY too weird for my liking (Good chance Rooney and Tomlin feel the same way).

His interviews are beyond cringey, like he’s WAY HIGH, but if he can make the Shanahan/McVay offense work WITHOUT Tomlin and Rooney’s interference then the sweatpants in 90 degree heat wearing, little vaper boy would have to suffice…should there even be a vacancy.

Hill doesn’t give a shit right now and neither would you with that defense and Tua scared shitless about getting hit again.

Hill is every bit as he ever was, he just knows playing with Tua is futile. Look for Jaylen Waddle to want out soon too.

Nah, Hill’s fine and I think it has a lot more with what @Steeldrama said. Hill is disinterested and I don’t blame him.

Tua has to get the ball out in less than 2 seconds or he’s paralyzed with fear. It’s over.

Tyreek had 63 ypg with Tua last year, 44 ypg with scrubs. Those would translate to 1070 with Tua for full year vs 748 with scrubs. He clearly isn’t tyreek of yesteryear anymore, but 60% of tyreek would be a big add.

He also has AB-level baggage; but tampa got a ton of mileage out of the 2020 version of antonio brown in their SB run, so there’s still a fair argument. I wouldn’t hate giving a 4th for him, but i wouldn’t push for it.

I get that Bro. Do you really believe Jibba/Smiff would maximize Hill's skillz, I do not. Jibba did have Minkah playing 30yrds off LOS and basically neutralized his Ball hawking skillz.

This.

Rogers had 4 TD’s with what he has to work with.

Hill is a POS human and I wouldn’t touch him. The DV charges that just came to light make this an even harder no. Absolutely no.

Rogers has 3 very capable TE’s to mix in.

Prefer another LT and even some d-line depth before another WR.
