Honestly having a hard time finding more than 6 wins this year even putting on black and gold glasses. This schedule is pretty brutal.

I think they split with the Browns but basically, I have no confidence in them winning much

Miami, Chicago, Cleveland x2 are complete ass
Minnesota & New England have young QBs
Indy isn’t great and they’ll get Cincy minus Burrow once maybe twice.
Those 9 games probably get 8 wins. Add that to the win already on the books means they’ll probably get to NHALS heaven, the ultimate goal of the season and franchise.
9-8, Tomlin keeps his job. Maybe they upset a good team to earn a wild card birth and first round playoff blowout loss.

This week sapped most of the optimism I'd managed to muster after week one. That said, probably drag ourselves to NHALS somehow.

They'll end up with 9 wins. 10 wins if the horseshoe is in their ass

Probably 9-8
10-7 wouldn’t surprise me.
We face 2 extremely inexperienced QB’s in the next 2 games and and I’m sure the defense will improve.
I thought Broderick was a lot better yesterday than he was vs the Jets. He was far from great but he was better than Fautanu who really looked like he was struggling. We’re simply going to have to live with these young tackles struggles.
I also think Kaleb Johnson is benched for a significant amount of time and even though I like Lew Nichols more than Trey Sermon, I expect Sermon will be back returning kicks vs New England and that area could be greatly improved with just that one move.

Fingers crossed this is the year the wheels fall off.
6-7 wins total.
They're not beating NE this week. They'll lose in Ireland.
1-3 heading into the bye.
They'll split with Cleveland & Cincy. Finding 3 more wins after that is a challenge.
NHALS ends and everyone here should be happy about it. His ego won't be able to handle a rough season. On to his TV career.

still a 6 win team. The Jets win was one they should not have won. IMHO, The Bears is the only chance they have for a win in the NFC north

5 wins, more injuries. 3-4 wins
I’d rather 1-16

If this esteemed website’s poster base had any balls we would arrange a yearly parade down south water street the morning after the 9th win every year.

We are going to lose enough games early to knock us out of the playoffs.
Once that has been done, Jibba Jabber (and his overrated piece of shit defense) will circle the wagons and start to play well.
They’ll win enough games down the stretch to preserve NHALS while also moving us down the draft board.
Jibbs will puff his chest and peacock. As will Capt. Scam Heyward. Dunce will say ah schucks we were right there if only we got a bounce here and a bounce there while praising his fraud of a HC.
No significant changes in the offseason.

yes...and THEN..of course,,the media including ex players will jump on the "Tomlin always finds a way!!" bandwagon. I have never EVER rooted against the Steelers in any game. And I never will. But if we just HAPPEN to have a complete collapse of a season, I won't be in the LEAST disappointed. My wet dream is we trade Tomlin to the Dolphins for multiple first round picks and find a franchise QB in the next two drafts somehow , someway. I will glady endure a rebuild with a new HC and staff and a new Rooney at the helm ..I know we can't win every year but it would be nice to think we are actually working towards another Lombardi vs whatever it is we are working towards NOW...lol

JJ McCarthy has ankle sprain, out 2-4 weeks. Looks like they will get Wentz, not sure if that is a good thing. Mike Tomlin always seems to get to face a lot of backup QB.

Pittsburgh can still win 12 or 13 games, maybe even more. Losing is no fun, but at least it was a non-conference game.

Over the last ten years Tomlin got to face the most backups in nfl in that span. He going to get bengals twice and Vikings once. I imagine he will get 2 or three more. Probably win 11 or 12 games with that.

And then proceeds to lose to them more often then not

Steelers go 9-8, Mikey jizzes. Wins over browns twice, Bengals twice, Chicago, Indy, pats, dolphins. Steelers get into playoffs as #7 seed, get drilled in Wild Card Round, by Ravens, 28-3. Steelers pick #18.

Indy will hammer the Steelers. Couldn't stop Breece Hall or Ken Walker, Taylor is going to kill them.

The Steeler defense is exactly what a young QB needs. A defense that can't stop the run. Last time I checked, the teams the Steelers will be playing have RBs with 2 legs.

7-10 final record for me best case scenario...I could see them winning the final 2 against Cleveland and Baltimore, Ravens might have playoff position locked up and rest players, no telling who will be playing QB for Cleveland in 2nd meeting...but some of the W's I have are toss ups best case.

Cleveland's defense is better than Pittsburgh's right now... and JOK hinted he's coming back soon. So, while it may be true they are complete ass, they might be capable of a split with PIT.

Right now, what positions on the Steelers can you say are actually above average in the NFL?
Boswell is probably our only elite player but our ST are definitely not above average given the boneheads (Kaleb Johnson) we trot out there.
