TJ jogging?
Just watched the highlights of the game on YouTube. Was Watt hurt? On several plays he was jogging after the ballcarrier. Looked like he was hurt or winded.

He’s been doing it all year. He gives up on plays. If he can’t get the sack he just stops playing. The only thing this guy cares about are his stats and and his pay check. There have been at least 10 plays when he’s had the ability to run down a play from behind but just walked or jogged instead.

He was also jogging after Maye and looking back for a flag before the play was officially over. Lollygagger

Steeler fans..........."TJ Watt is not living up to his standards or his contract!!!!
Watt lhas a two tackles, three tackle assists, two sacks, one fumble forced, one fumble recovery game
Steelers fan---"He didn't run hard on that one play I saw on Red Zone!!!"

						This is horseshit.

Watt was held and after being held, didn't have the angle on Maye.
He wasn't catching a young, very mobile QB like Maye who not only had a step on Watt (because of the hold) he also had the angle heading for the sidelines.
I know Watt is now overpaid and washed (that's the narrative here at least) but he played his ass off yesterday.

For those calling BS watch this YouTube video and see these two plays at 9:10 and 10:50
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e30qv6NFUfQ
9:10 - he stops running to ask for a penalty. Maye runs for another 6 yards.
10:50 - he's literally just jogging and lets Maye run for another 10 yards. I assume here he was just winded. Just weird to see from TJ.

The 10:50 is one of the plays I remember. And there have been at least 3 like that every game. The Steelers always praise Heyward and other D Linemen for pursuing plays downfield. A runner can cut back and you can force a fumble or get in on a tackle. Watt absolutely gives up and walks around. He got most of his sacks and big plays in his career on hustle more than pass rush moves. The hustle is now gone.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 6:25 pmFor those calling BS watch this YouTube video and see these two plays at 9:10 and 10:50

I haven't been watching closely but I will now!
He has a Wide Loop Rush for Contain in his schematical arsenal now too.

Play number 5 from All 22 shows TJ loafing...by the way Herbig had his way with the rookie 1st rounder.
