Rest of season prediction?

Post by Boukman » Sun Oct 12, 2025 10:27 pm

12 games to go. Much tougher schedule going forward. How many more wins?

@Cin Thu night - W
GB - L
Indy - L
@LAC - L
Cin - W
@Chicago - W
Buf - L
@ Bal - L
Mia - W
@Det - L
@ Cle - W
Bal - W

Hopefully 6-6 is the floor to finish 10-7. Raise the ceiling with improving defense and offensive line play and maybe win a couple more to go 8-4 to finish 12-5?

I’d bet my house on Detroit beating the Steelers. Otherwise I think the season comes down to the Baltimore games. Win one of those and finish with 10-11 wins and a division title. Lose both and miss the playoffs.

There are 10 teams with a real shot at 10 wins in the AFC and
The North is only getting the champion in the playoffs no wildcards

9-8.

Do you all realize how easy our schedule has been? We've played two teams with a pulse: New England and Seattle. Both of those teams outplayed us, but in the Pats game we got like 5 f'n turnovers. An analomy.

If the run defense and middle of the field pass defense goes back to being sieves, I agree, we'll be lucky to get to 9-8. I'm banking on them getting better if (big if) they mostly stay healthy. I'm more worried about the offense running well enough to help keep the QB upright.

Offense in the AFC North...

Bengals 29th in points
Ravens 6th in points (but 32nd in defense points)
Browns 31st in points
Steelers 16th in points (defense is 21st in points)

There is not a high level of football being played in our division.

Steelers continue to stack wins early, while Baltimore continues to struggle early. Steelers win the division at 11-6 and get the 3 seed. However, Baltimore gets healthy down the stretch, secures the 6 seed, and embarrasses the Steelers at home two weeks in a row in week 18 finale and Wild Card weekend. Tomlin gets extension.

Going to get destroyed if they make the playoffs.

Offense stills sucks.

Feels like it’s watching a high school team, or the NFL in 1982.
