Dodged a bullet there. He’s embarrassingly bad. And Tomlin would have stuck with him for 2-3 years because he’s a good kid.

Not sure there is a worse QB in the NFL right now.

Aaron Glenn is even more embarrassing

Garrett Wilson laid into his barely lucid ass before halftime for 2 minute malpractice

I’d make that bum swim back to America

Pretty sure that's racist.

Oddly, you have to be a little racist to understand why

It’s basic geography actually

To get to England from America you have to cross the pond known as the Atlantic Ocean

What would it take to go get Garrett Wilson from NYJ?

A 4th and Highsmith? Do it!

He seems not to be able to see anything once the ball snaps

How about the defensive minds that have made him look like a HOF'er twice when he was the opposite side of the field?

But he has so much talent.

Watching Fields’ play this year, and comparing it to what Fields’ did in piloting the Steelers to a 4-2 start last year: It is shocking to see how much he has regressed. Say what you will about Arthur Smith, he was a good coach for Fields.

Fields now looks like he has no confidence. He’s taking way too many sacks because he doesn’t get the ball out or throw with anticipation.

i do not know if i have ever seen a more incompetent last minute or so to a half.
and that last 30-40 seconds was brutal.
everyone standing around looking back and forth from sideline to the field.
wow.

How did that Jets offense put up 32 points with almost 400 yard and control the clock for almost 35 minutes vs us in week 1?

I can maybe understand not wanting to risk, since it was 4th & 1, not wanting to give the ball back to Denver with an opportunity for them to add points. I believe the jets still had a timeout, so at least snap it with 10 seconds left, throw into FG range. That fails, best Denver can do is a Hail Mary.

he hadnt "regressed" so much when he played the steelers ;)
He hasnt regressed -- he is the same QB he has been for 5 years ... remember that video clip floating around of why he lost his job despite being 4-2.
missing wide open WRs, fumbles, total inability to see the field and understand plays
against the steelers he showed it again at the end of the game -- he has no ability to do anything other than hit his first read if wide open or run.
as long as the game is Fully scripted and under control he can get by ... anything off script, under pressure or playing from behind late is simply cant do
he should have been made a multi-use offense player instead of QB

Week 1 is always full of flukes. That was essentially the first time that the 2025 Steelers defense played together. Plus Milkdud Loudermilk played far too much.

MDLM can not see play time once / if he comes back from injury.

Agreed. Not sure why he's on the roster.
