Ok I know everyone has been talking about the Steelers going after the exclusive Wr. Meyers and Olave and Shaaid plus others. But I thinking about But I be going out of the Box especially for Defense and would not cost and trade value. Here the 3 names Simmions and Samuel and Wilkins

Kenny Pickett enters the game for the Raiders….immediately fumbles the snap and gives it to the Chiefs.

Wonder who his next team will be next season?

Fields was also benched.

Tell me who in this org evaluates QB talent? Other than gettint a first ballot HoF guy like Rodgers does anyone know what they are doing?

Should we also mention Mitch Trubisky?

I'll throw a random thought here. The constant "communication" issues on defense, but fewer people note the chronic mistakes on offense. Guys not knowing the play, not knowing where they're supposed to be, jumping on a 4th and inches etc.

Rodgers was on camera yelling at teammates left and right on Thursday night and, as Florio mentioned, he looked agitated all night long.

This shit goes back to the start of the Tomlin era. The offensive coaching is and has been a joke that has lagged behind that of the rest of the league. It's been noted by guys who have left the organization how much more detail oriented other offenses in the league are.

If shit goes South, I still fully expect Rodgers to sound off on this publicly.

It all starts with the piss poor head coach who never hired a single quality coach.

The more I watch George Pickens this season the more annoying the trade becomes.

He wasn't going to be on the team past this year. The Steelers chose to invest long-term in DK rather than Pickens. They weren't doing both.

These Giants look like a different team with Dart as a their QB.

I know the Colts have an amazing Oline but it's so annoying to see how other teams make things look so easy with great schemes and playcalling.

There’s a bum down on Carson Street I’m certain that would be a better DC than Tomlin.

Not possible. The draft gurus (mostly) thought he was a bum.

This one is going to be a little like Cowher passing on Brees, but I don't foresee a Roethlisberger in the future. When they swing and miss next year, the Tomlin fans and media will shrug their shoulders and say they draft too high to get one of the really good ones. Tomlin is just a victim of his own success.

It's early. I'm not crowning him yet, but yea, he looks promising. One draft can change the fortunes of a team no matter where you're picking. The Steelers have been stuck in a perpetual 5 year plan (is there any other kind?) to rebuild this or that part of the team going back to the OL struggles under Arians.

I was told Dart couldn't be successful because he was in a 1 read offense.

Looks like Daboll taught him how to make that 1 read count. Dude is a really good leader too.

The Giants looked flat and dead with Russ at QB. Dart has been a revelation (Skattebo too) and even without Nabers, who is a superstar level talent, the Giants are seriously fucking dangerous now.

This time last year some people here wanted to pay Fields $30 million/ year. I'm damn glad the Steelers were wise enough not to do that.

This feels like ten years ago. Steelers wasting everyone's time despite a HOF QB playing at a high level.

Would not surprise me if Rodgers 2025 stats are similar to Ben 2016.

Memo to Art: if Dan Orlovsky likes something, do the opposite.

This team really doesn’t need to trade for or sign anymore free agents to create a winning environment.

What this team requires are two changes, a head coach and an owner that is vested in winning beyond NHALS.

The proof is in the pudding as the cliche goes. This defense is loaded with proven talent, on paper. Yet?

The offense isn’t even that bad with solid talented players manning key positions. What gives?

Even special teams have great talent. The Williams kid is a stroke of good luck in my opinion too.

Even with all the talent peppered throughout the roster they seem to be out coached and out performed.

What’s the difference? In one word, coaching.

Nothing close to a dominant team right now, but the 180 that Colts team has made this season is quite impressive.

Sure watching a competent NFL offense spurs a shit ton of jealousy, but the Colts are not the NFL norm right now.

Last night's unwatchable Sunday primetime game more indicative of where most teams are.

My transplant hometown Falcons “boast” an offense that ranks top 5 in all sorts of categories.

Stud RB
Stud WR
Solid OL
Shanny/McVay coaching tree

Hardly an enviable performance last night.

San Fran DC Robert Saleh, playing with a (very)short deck, had Falcons QB Mike Penix scared shitless. 0-9 when pressured.

I don’t watch nearly the amount NFL as I used to, but Saleh might be the top DC in the game.

Tomlin/Austin?

Not so much

(HEY MIKE! If you're going to hire a puppeteer, at least find one who wasn't historically Bengals bad. GAWD AWFUL HIRE. Somebody PLEEEEEASE fire someone!!!!).

Dart could also be a guy who, like a rookie pitcher, looks great his first time around the order and then once figured out has to come up with a different pitch.

Do agree, Dart is fun to watch and has a lot of guts for a rook. How he adjusts when the league inevitably adjusts to him will tell the tale.
