Rodgers postgame presser - laugh at Tomlinism?

Post by CoolShades » Thu Nov 13, 2025 2:44 am

Anyone catch the Rodgers post game press conference?

At 3:22, a reporter asks Rodgers a question and uses the word “schematically”. Rodgers makes a face, laughs, and repeats “schematically?” Sounds like someone has heard that word one time too many lately.

Take a look:

I am hoping Rodgers heard that word and laughed to himself because he knows what a bullshit artist Mediocre Mike is, and how the Steeler beat reporters have adopted his bullshit vocabulary.

I hope things go south badly and Riggers starts exposing Jibbs as the fraud he is.

However, the moment that happens the media will come to the rescue and paint Rogers as a bad guy, anti-vaxxer and will elevate Jibbs as an infallible HOFer that shouldn’t be criticized
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

“Schematically” and “in totality” is all you hear during a Tomlin presser.

Rodgers is probably coming to the realization that this organization is a joke and that Tomlin is a hot bag-of-air fraud who knows nothing about contending in the modern NFL.

He also shook his head. Inside joke somewhere perhaps.

Didn't The Jogger TJ Watt use that in a sentence too, maybe unironically.

Rodgers has been in the league a very long time. He got to observe Coach T from afar, now he is in the middle of the septic tank filled with Coach's bullshit.

Must feel like punishment.

Tomlin loves to use "schematically" because it deflects from the coaches and Xs & Os onto the Jimmys & Joes.

Because the schemes are infallible. Tomlin loves to explain how great their plan was if not for the execution....

Biggest indictment of that is their best defensive performance of the year involved simplifying "schematically" and just letting guys swarm to the ball. Steelers have to be one of the worst teams in the league at forcing players into schemes not designed to maximize their strengths. Has to be a huge reason why so few of our players seem to develop and improve.

Listening beyond the Rodgers clip fraudlin is just so pigheaded arrogant and pretentious.

How does anyone tolerate his lame word salads anymore? Why? Laughable at point.

Fraudlin knows he has run out of plausible excuses and struggles to identify why they stink up stadiums.

it is a specifically conceived and fully intentional -- the overall purpose of the Plan is to extend his cash flow indefinitely (and his Boss)
assistant coaches and core players are bought in - in return for jobs they would not normally get or large C3s and special dispensation
keep it simple and always the Same - lessens work, makes life easier and helps avoid blame
development is not required - just do the few and simple things you are told to do and hop on the Money Train
convince your employer that the real accomplishment is making the playoffs - after that its a crapshoot and all Gravy
you get along to get along
