Fuck You Haters, Volume 2
Hope you fuckin asshats had fun, rooting hard against your team, hoping the Colts scored 40, etc

Swiss, I truly hope the steelers eek out a playoff win again before you die. You deserve it.

You can root for losses. Or you can root for wins. Both people will end-up equally happy. Must be why the seats are still filled.

Well I didn't have fun. Like it was actually the opposite of fun.

What are you the board’s Trump of I told you so’s?
Tell us all how anyone could’ve foreseen 6 effing turnovers…

I am a proud member of the Haters Club.
As an FYI, I no longer waste my time watching the Steelers, therefore I don’t actively root for them to lose. But I really want them to.
I do, however, check in on the score when I remember to.
Today, I had a queasy feeling. The betting line seemed too low to me. I thought something might be up. But I did hope that when I checked the score, the Steelers would be losers.
But alas, mediocre Mike and the rigged NFL strike again. There will now be a week of national media Tomlin ball-washing. The Tomlin fanboy sycophants will also be walking around with a chubby, just because they are one game closer to ending the annual quest to keep NHALS alive. I can’t relate to you guys.
It wasn’t always this way. Win or lose, I used to love watching the Steelers.
No more. The team and the culture reflect the coach. There is nothing to like about these clowns. All arrogant, me-first losers. The only guys I genuinely like are Rodgers, Warren and Boswell.
Until Tomlin is gone, I will continue to root for losses and I make no apologies.
I just hope I live to see it.

Here's where you've got it wrong, Perch. One can both want Tomlin gone, as I've advocated for a dozen years, while also rooting for the Steelers to win. You haters are deluded into thinking that Tomlin will leave other than when he's good & fuckin ready. The Rooney family member (I think it was Jim) said the goal of the franchise is to be better than average. As long as Tomlin keeps his NHALS streak going they are happy and he isn’t leaving. If they lose, and his defense regularly gives up 30+ and the fans continue to express their anger…. Rooney will be forced to get rid of Tomlin and put out a product that is competitive.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 1:01 amHere's where you've got it wrong, Perch. Rooting for them to get a handful of meaningless wins on the way to 9-8 and an embarrassing first round playoff exit is for suckers and morons. You’re “Fuck You” thread just fuels are rewards the perpetual mediocrity of this franchise, so kindly, FUCK YOU for being part of the problem.

This is what I don’t understand. If you really want Tomlin gone, outside of rooting for losses, what do you do? Root for a stroke? A car accident? A wayward lightning strike? A slip and fall accident in his driveway?
That seems kind of cruel.
The reason Rooney feels no pressure to dump The Fraud™ is because there are too many people that share your defeatist, “we accept our fate and Tomlin will leave only when he wants to” attitude.
Rooney needs to feel some pressure. He felt it with Canada. He needs to feel it again.
Every win helps Tomlin dig in like the tick he is, and it takes the pressure off Rooney to fix this. How on earf can you support that? What does a meaningless regular season win get you?
You know what’s coming. They either miss the playoffs or get blown out by a real team again in the first round. It is lather, rinse, repeat. Almost a decade of mediocre suckitude. 18 seasons, and only 4 of those seasons had a playoff win. How is this at all enjoyable?
I honestly don’t get it.

I'm part of the problem?? That's funny, Perch. Do you think a conglomeration of asshats on a message board rooting for the Steelers to lose is going to force The Douchebag Art II's hand with Tomlin?? I've said it many times. Id much rather see my team playing on the second weekend of January than have their games be meaningless during the month of December.

Look at this game and the Patriots contest. Each one score games where they get out-gained while having a turnover advantage of 11 to 2. You feel good about that? This team is a contender? No, these are two Tomlin signature wins; the other team shits the bed. It's how he consistently stays above .500 but still gets destroyed in the playoffs when he makes it, where the games are over by half time. This is why I was against the Rogers signing. All it does is kick the can of mediocrity to down the road. Some of you can ignore that and still get excited for this team after a decade of disappointment. Keep hope alive! At this point, for me it's the definition of insanity.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

This boards overall sentiment seems to be that a majority of us want Tomlin gone. Most of us believe that if there is even a slight chance of him being fired it will have to be at the hands of embarrassing loses and chants of Fire Tomlin ringing down from the stands. We are looking at the big picture. We all understand that Tomlin won’t win another playoff game with this team ever again. Us “haters” have chosen to root for losses because it embarrasses ArtII - you think the fans chanting Fire Canada didn’t help the Deuce to make a change mid season? While we know the odds of him being fired are slim to none…It’s also a more viable option than cheering for NHALS to be achieved and playoff curb stompings. I’ve never seen a Steelers team I’ve hated more. Very unlikable bunch tbh being led by a fraud. We want change and JIbs eeking out .500 seasons and failing miserably in the playoffs is doing nothing but extending his stay.
Rooney has been bamboozled by the “only 3 coaches since 1969” tag line. He and Tomlin also believe that all the Steelers need to do is pound the rock and have a dominate defense and championships will be achieved. So as long as NHALS and a playoff loss are on the table Tomlin is
safe. We as a fan base have been reduced to rooting for embarrassing losses because Tomlin & Co. have been embarrassing us for over a decade now. We KNOW he’s not going anywhere and we KNOW the emperor has no clothes. Being happy when he walks by naked and cheering him on is worse than yelling at him to go fuck off. Rooting for wins at this point is like rooting for just one more lifeboat on the Titanic. Pointless.

I understand that too…. Tomlin won’t be fired and we all know this. However this website and its esteemed members have been ahead of the curve on the MT hate. We want things to get so bad that Art hears SOMETHING. Even if we know it’s futile. We just want ownership to be embarrassed like MT has been embarrassing the fan base since 2017. We’re fucking sick of his shit. The haters and the ones who want to see em play deep into the playoffs are both right and wrong. It’s a bit of a catch 22. So we can continue as a collective board to go round and round about Coach .500 and the Deuce and hope this merry go round comes to an end after 2027 and they both leave so Daniel Rooney can step in. We need a fucking change from the top to the bottom. And us die hard fans who’ve been fans for 40-50+ years are sitting on this shitty ride begging for them to stop it. While others have reluctantly decided to accept their fate and cheer when they win because well…we love this franchise. Both sides have their pros and cons but the “haters” have had enough and don’t give a fuck about this current roster or staff. Enjoy the wins when they happen but just know we’re in purgatory and this team has ZERO chance of winning just ONE playoff game much less a SB. I just want off this carousel because I’m tired of throwing up.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 2:00 pmBiiiiig dif between firing Matt Canada and firing Mike Tomlin. I think this was more trap for the Colts. The Steeler offense could not sustain long drives. This is the NE game in different setting.
I'm glad they won as it makes my Monday better ( espeically since I live in Indianapolis) but I do not think it is sustainable and not a way to win in the playoffs.

I am a bonafide Tomlin hater and one of the very very few from day 1. I hate it when my Steelers lose, but I played the score game expecting the Steelers to lose and lose big. How couldn't I after the stinking turds they laid the last two weeks? They were going up against the number 1 team in the NFL - a team that was scoring 30+ points against everyone. Our defense couldn't stop my grandma from running 100 yards on them and she's been dead for over a decade! It's not that people WANT to root against them. It's that this may be the only way to get rid of Tomlin and his horrible coaches! So, fans root against the team in order to get rid of the major idiot who basically does nothing all season until his butt is on the line, like yesterday, then it is what it is! Where was this team and particularly the defense the last two games? No where because this coaching staff didn't feel the need to put the time in to making sure the team was ready! So, Tomlin deserves to have fans rooting against the team just to get rid of him - he owns that (well, he never accepts any responsibility). So Swiss, I hope you enjoy this win, because it got the monkey off Tomlin's back for now. Will he actually continue to put the time in for the rest of the season, I doubt it! If we lose the next 6 games, I'm sure you'll be extremely happy having him on the sidelines for many more years after Rooney continues to extend him over 1 good win!
