If the debate is currently, then sure. If it is looking at careers in total, then no.

Sure, but factor in current pace and production...Garrett is going to surpass Watt career-wise very soon and he's 2 years younger.

Watt looks like he's about done after this year.

Yes and if you factor in current pace, my daughter will be 100 feet tall in 30 years...

Also, Garrett historically has done one thing well (sack the QB). He doesn't have the PD element to his game. In his career, he has 17 PD. He also has 21 FF. In contrast, Watt has 56(!!!) PD and 35 FF. Thats 39 more PD which is pretty amazing.

I explain it like this: Garrett may be the better PASS RUSHER. But TJ is a much better FOOTBALL PLAYER.

Thankfully the Steelers locked TJ in for a mere $40 million/ year for the foreseeable future!
