Can the Steelers D take advantage or will they surrender 30+ points yet again in another loss?

Will McDermot figure out how to adapt to this loss??
I’m guessing, yes.

Queue .5 sack game for Watt and Heyward and 2 first half sacks for Herbig who will play a total of 11 snaps in the 2nd half. And a dumb fucking clueless and helpless look on Tomlin's face for the entirety of the game.

Interesting nugget. The time to throw against the Steelers defense is .5 seconds lower than any other team in the league.
People are bitching about the pass rush and the pass rushers, but the coverage this year has been atrocious and soft schematically despite bringing in two (old) CB's known for their man coverage. And having Porter Jr.
So while I'm concerned when I see Watt jogging on plays or seemingly not putting in full effort, part of that may just be from frustration over the reality that the coverage blows and isn't giving the rushers any time to actually make plays with any consistency. He's commented on this a few times this year and quotes have mostly flown under the radar.
If Allen chooses to, he'll have guys open pretty much right away. He is a guy who will hold on to the ball to make a play down field, but he's gotten better with experience. So it's up to him really.

That would be sweet.

Didn't the Chargers sign multiple guys off the street days before they came to Pittsburgh in the cold and beat the Steelers. I won't be shocked at all if Allen isn't touched all game and the Bills score over 40.

First time in three years bills are missing oline starter. 22 23 24 all healthy every game
But Steelers have been pretty healthy last few seasons too so can’t complain

The best part of the game was Buffalo running 3 plays from 5 formations every series. Over and over and over again. This team is bad at football.
I am officially dubbing the team colors Black & Pyrite.

Imagine Allen hadn't had his usual brain fart. He got his shit together later though, but he goes through rough patches.
Hell, Cook came back from a super costly fumble and totally gashed the shit out of the vaunted run D of the Stillers.

Let's see
The Chargers were without both starting tackles
The bears were without at least one starting tackle
This isn't new- the team has no idea how to take advantage of personnel mismatches
