SteelerFury.com Podcast Week 14: Steelers at Ravens
The Steelers come off an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills, a game in which they gave up a record 249 yards on the ground in Pittsburgh. Now, the noise regarding Mike Tomlin's future with the team are at an all time high. When former Steelers legends James Harrison and Ben Roethlisberger both say they think its time to move on from head man, people start to take notice. Unfortunately for the Steelers, the next team up on the schedule is an AFC North matchup that takes the team to Baltimore, a team who put up a record 300 yards on the ground in their last meeting. Join Jeremy Kohlman and Wil Masisak as they break down the team's performance against the Bills, explore what lies ahead — including the pivotal matchup with the Ravens — and take a tour around the NFL, where Week 14 delivers several playoff-caliber showdowns.

Jeremy, Noll went 7-9 his last season (1991) IIRC. They were 5-9 but won their last two at home against the Bengals, and, of course, the Browns.
You know, this is something that hit me about 1/3rd the way through this most recent podcast:
I can confidently say that there is no one else I'd rather hear talk about the Steelers than Wil Masisak.
I don't even think it's comparable. Just absolutely blows away any of the Steelers Depot, the PG guys, whoever else you want to compare.
Don't stop never stop.

There was no one but FC, Perch, and yours truly doing a Steelers podcast when we started, and I was the one who didn't know very much. I think there might be about 40 podcasts now––some are pretty good (the Steelers Sanctuary has some interesting dudes/takes). But I often feel like our takes are way ahead of the curve-- I hear stuff now that we were talking about ages ago. I think we were the very first place in the world talking about the U-Shaped offense. That's now become an "everywhere" thing. People are saying stuff about Arthur Smith and the snap/target distribution for TEs that I feel like I was the only one talking about before the season––and they were all talking about how huge a year Jonnu & PF were going to have.
Anyway, just trying to be honest and as objective as possible––and I have a feeling you enjoy listening to me because we have a similar Steelers worldview. Many times I have been prepared to stop but they keep dragging me back in.
Thanks again.

I will tell you that watching a game with Wil, as which I've had the privilege, is a true learning experience. Having played high school and D-III collegiate level, and watched the game for 60 years, not ashamed to say that Wil knows a ton more than I do.tbsteel wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 5:45 pmYou know, this is something that hit me about 1/3rd the way through this most recent podcast:

Just kidding, they hadn’t invented scouting yet back then
