Packers Bears
What a game.
Caleb Williams is a great QB. Got a lot of Ben in him.

Packers fucking choked huge. Is this make it more or less likely that they beat the ravens in Lambo next week?

I'm not even remotely sold on :Caleb Williams. His own coach (who is far more responsible for their offensive success this season) admitted just a few weeks back that they win despite the passing game rather than because of it. Packers were missing their starting QB and they to the incredibly rare onside recovery.
I just don't think Williams has the mindset to be a great QB. And not just because he paints his nails.
Long term he's not going to evolve. He doesn't even have the consistency right now to really scare you.

Reminds me of the NFCC from about 10 years ago when the Packers botched and onsides kick against Seattle and lost in OT without ever touching the ball. I believe it involved Rogers and Russell Wilson.... our last two QBs.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:55 amPackers fucking choked huge. Maybe less likely due to Love being in concussion protocol. But GB will be desperate for a win. Go cheese heads.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:55 amPackers fucking choked huge. Is this make it more or less likely that they beat the ravens in Lambo next week?

I think there's no way Love doesn't make it out of concussion protocol for this game. Pack need to win out to make the playoffs.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 11:49 amMaybe less likely due to Love being in concussion protocol. But GB will be desperate for a win. STILL pissed we lost to the Bears. That game was sooo fuckin winnable!!
There is nothing more standard about a Jibba Jabber coached team than this. Happens each and every year. Why we never are in contention for a 1 or 2 seed anymore. And those years where we did put ourselves in the driver's seat for those higher seeds, we promptly drop games to lesser teams.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:51 pmSTILL pissed we lost to the Bears. "Time pressure" game vs. the Raiders comes to mind. Too dumb to use a time out before Boz was to attempt the game tying FG. Naw. Boz can just rush his kick on that soggy ass bog of a field. No need to make this day any longer by giving the guy a sec to check the field and where he wants to plant etc..
Lunch spread is out by now. Better get this one over with ASAP.
We give away games & seasons to this man's continued idiocy. A proven "game day fuck-up" as you like to say. I'd say he's also a "during the week scheme & game planning fuck-up" as well.
This is why we boo. This is why we wish bad results on the man.

And per my memory, that game was a fucking smorgasbord of Tomlin's game day dumbfuckedness, the example you site just being the final nail in the coffin. Previous to that and I forget the exact details, didn't call a timeout which would have given his team more time to drive for the winning score supposedly to put more "time pressure" on the Raiders… Then no matter how you analyze it it was a stupid fucking decision to make. That was also the game, correct where he had ben available to go back into the game, but refused to put him back in.955876 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 6:19 pmThere is nothing more standard about a Jibba Jabber coached team than this. All that said… I still maintain. There's no way Rooney is ditching this guy, there's no way Tomlin doesn't get extended this off-season.

Depends on if Willis or Love gets the start. Side note Willis is who Baltimore should pursue as a backup for Lamar Jackson.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 6:17 amMoar likely.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:55 amPackers fucking choked huge. I was out on him when he went and cried on his mom's lap during a game at USC. That can't lead my team. He does have more raw athletic ability at the QB position from running and throwing aspect as anyone.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 7:28 amI'm not even remotely sold on :Caleb Williams.
