Warren for sure.

And the two that kept the Lion out of the endzone on the last play.

There are a number of folks who could certainly qualify as DS-ers this week but I agree that it starts in the backfield

- Warren 151 total yards - 143 rushing + 8 receiving
- Gainwell 128 total yards - 50 rushing + 78 receiving

That's 279 yards from scrimmage from just those two.

I kind of disagree.. ask me 10 times and I say better off if they allowed the score. I think about 5% chance they could hold the Lions out of the end zone after that. It worked out this time. But I wouldn’t expect it. But I think if Detroit scores there the Steelers have about a 25% chance of working themselves into FG range with 40 seconds on the clock.

Rodgers was so good in this game on 3rd downs. Gainwell made an incredible catch to get that TD before the half. But Rodgers made two great 3rd and long throws to get them in position for that score. That changed the whole game.

Both Rb for sure. Queen too. Again liked cook and Peat. Harmon return to bolster the run game and AR stepped up again also Sawyer

So many of you still don’t have a clue about The Doorie Award

But then again….unsurprising

Many of you are some of the dumbest motherfuckers with two hands

Lolololz

This was a weird but very typical Rooneyball game

Several O side players had a chance to win the Doorie this week and I wouldn’t argue with any of those guys

D side……just very typical Tomlin and the players executing Rooneyball ……

Hopefully time runs out and we win

I will say this…..

This game outlined the Steelers clearest path to another Lombardi…..

Miller
Warren
Gainwell
DK
Rogers
Smith
Washington

If those guys all have career highlight games all at the same time for the next several weeks consistently without fail…..

Maybe we will get lucky and bring home the Lombardi

Go Steelers !!!!!

Fuck this team  8-)

Dan Campbell. Another in a long line of lunkhead coaches that stoops down to Coach Ts level. He should be commended for not using his team’s strengths until the end of the game. Tight and sound strategy. Smart coach.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

Aarpn Rodgers - in control and Relaxed is how he looked much of the game, kept Detroit from ever getting the door open beyond a crack

Highsmith - was a doorslamming force against the run and Lions struggled blocking him all night, his worse play was getting caught and penalized for tripping

Jack Sawyer - rookie stepped up for Watt/Herbig when they couldn't get in the door because injury

Gainwell - wild heads-up play to catch the ball lying on the ground, quickly slams door on defender as he gets up un-touched and goes in for the score

Jared Goff - lost count of all the near picks he had when they abandoned the run and put the game in his hands, he nevertheless he had the door slammed on his dick when the final TD was overturned by penalty as time expired

Romo started off the broadcast stating Goff was an MVP candidate.

Uhhh Tony?

Ben Johnson made Goff look MUCH better than he actually is.

Now that Ben is long gone and the OL is a shell of itself Goff kinda SUCKS

Gotta give a doorie to the Lions defense

As FUN as it was watching Gainwell and Warren break off huge runs, that’s on the Lions.

Romo all blowing Uncle Artie for his “brilliant” play calls, he should’ve been blasting Detroit for the Charmin soft run defense

Tomlin now 104-0-1 when holding a 12+ point lead in the 4th quarter

Not unimpressive but fuck him and FUCK NHALS

At the time that was my thinking as well

Let them score. Aggressively challenged a two point conversion.

If the lions make the two point conversion, you’ve got a little bit of time

If they don’t games over

But the key-

That would’ve left them somewhere between 30-45 seconds to get in position for a game-winning field goal

AR also hit a flawless back shoulder fade to DK on 1st and 20 on the Steelers penultimate drive. That was another one of those game winning plays that took place during the tense moments of the 4th Q.

Alex Highsmith played one of his best games in the Black & Gold. He was everywhere making plays against the pass and the run.

Jack Sawyer looked to have acquitted himself well considering he was facing maybe the top RT in the league.

Kenneth Gainwell's catch is still amazing no matter how many times its been replayed.

The OLine.

The left side in particular.

Two new players off the bench and only one sack from that side.

One can argue that ‘chip’ Gainwell failed to land was why.

Cook and Peat held their own. Not bad for two players one a 4th alternate and the other an about aged out vet.

Peat may even be a better guard than Seumalo. Hard to say with only one game at guard but he made a case for discussion.

Miller coming off the bench and playing lights out certainly ingratiated himself. I believe he made a play on ST’s due to CAIII injury?

No mention of Ramsey in here is odd. He’s s played wherever he’s needed and continuously makes great plays and has to be accounted for.

Chuck Clark, a honorable mention for being at the right place at the right time ‘3 times’. I imagine, he’s younger he makes those plays.

Jalen Ramsey and Derrick Harmon both excelled in run defense.

Ramsey has been a stud moving around the secondary this season, filling in where needed and making plays everywhere.

Harmon had some plays where he made the Lions All-Pro RT look very average. He also looks to be @ 315lbs like D. Washington is @ 265lbs. But like Washington again, his movement and power are elite.

Agree Swiss.

I’m greedy and that said, I wanted at least one of those PD’s to be INT’d… :D
