People calling for Campbell's head already. Goff and WRs not in sync at all.

This was a gigantic meltdown, but long time coming.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

They need 2 new coordinators

Campbell went high risk with every 4th down call past 6 weeks

For those still doing the whole SBI thing... Packers now have much less to play for on Saturday, no?
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

They can win division or rest on their laurels clinching playoff spot, losing to ravens

Pack did clinch a playoff spot… But can still win the division if they went out and Bears lose out. Bears play at San Fran on Sunday night then have Detroit at home. So I think pack is still motivated to win, plus not wanting to lose three in a row.

Det's performance this year kinda takes the shine off our W last week huh?

People crowing about these past few wins

1. Balt literally dropped 3 TD passes that game
2. Dolphins quit in the 2nd half
3. Det had the ball on the 4 yard line and couldn't punch it in.

The teams I listed above won't make the playoffs. I don't get all the dick sucking going on about the Steelers....

I've never been super impressed with Goff. A good, not great QB, that you can win a championship if you have enough talent around him. Not a guy that can carry an offense on his own. Stafford is the same.

Wait until Trevor Lawrence become the hinge point for the Jags season.

You notice when Goff has a bad experience he runs to the sideline and stuffs his face in his faux-iPad and pretends to be looking at stuff? It's his binky.

That's pretty weird. He has a lot of talent but sometimes crumbles, sometimes he doesn't. He does get back out there.

Compare that to Rodgers or the Asshole Phil Rivers.

The mental component of the position is way more important than the physical, always.

Not to mention the fact that the refs handed the Steelers the Ravens game. The Ravens dominated statistically and really should have won but for terrible calls. The Refs were at least a 10 point swing that game. Watch the Matt Williamson video on the game- he doesn't outright say that the refs gave the game to the Steelers, but he points out how lopsided the stats were.

The same goes for the Lions game to a lesser extent. In most situations that St. Brown TD would have counted.

What's wrong with Philip Rivers? He seems like a good guy.

All of this is part and parcel of the NHALS approach to the regular season. If you Okey doke these high scoring teams into playing NHALS-ball (as mentioned on the pod this week, still not sure what Jedi mind trick Tomlin uses to do this to otherwise nominally intelligent opposing coaches), you'll catch a few of them with it, and making the games that close amplifies mistakes. That's sort of the micro piece of the philosophy.

The macro piece is that if you're maddeningly boring, but consistently so, you'll catch up and down teams like this year's Lions and every season's Ravens on the downswing at least half the time.

I like that Rivers is singlehandedly preventing or postponing the demographic collapse of the west, but he comes off as a jagoff jock QB. Comes with the position.

That said, if he were on the Steelers it would be a good thing. He can still play.

it's a very good point - harbaugh falls for this nonsense repeatedly ... except in the playoffs.

Campbell is going to be buried under concrete after a good meal at the Red Fox on Telegraph.

He needs a good OC as badly as the Steelers do.

Much like Goff, TLaw looks like a million bucks when he’s protected and like a human “I didn’t know QB rating went that low” Wikipedia entry when under pressure.
