Steelers losing out is long term SBI

Post by TimmayLake » Sun Dec 28, 2025 6:32 pm

Steelers lose to the lowly Browns and get curbstomped by Snoop Huntley. Tomlin "retires".

This is honestly the best case for SBI in the long term and probably the only way we get rid of Tomlin in the next 5 years.

This is absolutely correct, and after getting another NHALS, the perfect ending for this fucking dunce of a coach..

Will back to back divisional losses to blow the division the league tried so hard to give them be enough for a coaching change?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

He should not be in control of coaching hires

Probably not. Dunce is a coward.

Plus he cares about NHALS.

Back when the fans were booing it would have been nice to not be gifted that 1st Ravens game to continue to losing.

I really want Tomlin fired, but Art II will likely hire Arthur Smith or some other asswipe that thinks Stone Age style football is the way to go.

When the Ravens run down the Steelers throats next week the Fire Tomlin chants will be loud. They WILL spill over into the draft. Fuck Rooney and Tomlin and the ballwashers in the fan base that enabled this last decade of mediocrity.

94% playoff chance coming into the weekend. When they blow it next Sunday night, he’s gone. He cannot survive that. I hope it gets bad early so the crowd gets restless and starts the Fire Tomlin chants. I want complete chaos.

Rooney said he wanted playoff success this year. Blowing a 94% chance should be the final nail. A mutual parting of ways will follow.
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Can almost guarantee this.

At least Jibba will be gone though.

Fuck you who root for losses with some delusional belief that this influences Tomlin's longevity

Anyone who thinks SBI is “rooting for losses” should wear a helmet on their short bus while licking the windows. Also, stop enabling mediocrity.

Of course losses influence Tomlin's longevity. You think he'd keep his job if he went 0-17 a few seasons in a row? Really, it's just a question of how many losses it takes. The more embarrassing they are, the more likely it is Tomlin leaves or is forced out.

If you think they'll never win anything significant again under Tomlin, which is what I think, then the next best thing is to root for Tomlin to go as soon as possible. I'm on board the rooting for losses train. I can't stand watching the Steelers turn into the Pirates.

This is a fair point. Even the biggest Tomlin nut hugger has to admit he’s not winning another playoff game for the Steelers, ever. Ask yourself if you are ok letting him coach forever given that fact.
