The Most Tomlin Loss Ever

Post by jeemie » Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:04 pm

After NHALS was clinched.

To a three win team.

After winning the turnover battle.

And with typical Tomlin ass-clenching playcalling.

You disrupt almost your entire offseason to get Aaron Rodgers, and near midfield late, you take the ball out of his hands.

And KEPT forcing the ball to a receiver who was running the wrong routes and making mistakes all game long.

Oh and of course Tomlin blew some timeouts early as well.

This had all the classic Tomlin foibles.

But hey, at least Garrett didn't get the sack record.

Honestly, that's the one silver lining today. Garrett didn't get the sack record.

Tomlin doesn’t get signature wins. He gets signature losses. This was most definitely one of them.

I'll echo most of the above, but let's be clear here. This was 100% Rodgers. Rodgers is the reason MVS is here.

There have been people quietly taking shots at Ben this year to hype up Rodgers. His supposed leadership was brought up this week.

If Ben was the QB of this team, I guaran-fucking-tee that Roman Wilson would be contributing. Roethlisberger would find a way to get the young guy with physical talent involved with this group of WR's ahead of him.

Rodgers has basically shunned him all year long and brought in a guy who is basically his binkie and who wouldn't even be in the league if not for him in MVS. Proceeds to force him the ball with the season on the line.

Do you think Rodgers would tolerate those types of miscues from anyone else? Think he puts up with it and keeps going back to him if not for the fact that he's look retarded if he didn't for bringing him here in the first place? Any other WR would get roasted post-game and have been shown up on national TV with an over-the-top tirade from Rodgers making it clear who was to blame.

This aint leadership.

FYI....if PIT makes the playoffs, they will have beaten ONE playoff team this year. NE, early in the year, in which they were +5 and still almost lost.

If they don't get smoked next week, they definitely will the following week. Getting boat raced at home in the playoffs with boos raining down for 3 quarters might be enjoyable.

It’s Steelers leadership. That is Tomlin to a T. Most of the coaching staff would not be in the NFL if not for Tomlin. Players like Baby Heyward would not have a roster spot if not for Tomlin. Play favorites, keep the get-along-gang happy, and the team will always achieve NHALS, an early offseason tee time and a big fat contract for the team’s biggest Tomlin cocksuckers.

Mike McCarthy has basically the same resume as Tomlin and beat Tomlin in the Super Bowl. Yet he's out of a job and Tomlin is coach for life. I wonder why.

Don't forget. He will join the other Illustriate loser Marvin Lewis as the only HC's to lose 8 straight PO games.

I don't know which is Steelersfury best interest. Losing to Rats next week or Jibba joining Lewis while getting absolutely destroyed at home in the WC. I think I'll choose the WC smoking and the announcers taking about that as Jibba walks off the field losing 44 - 13

This times a million, Ben made every receiver he had look like a stud, even Limas looked good if he could have caught the ball. Roman Wilson being written out of the offense midway through the year is criminal, and 100% on Rodgers.

Silver lining is after they lose to Baltimore, Tomlin's seat will definitely get a little warm, maybe he will walk alway...also at 9-8 they will be picking around 17 instead of in the 20's

Did Coach blow kisses to his haters after the game?
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
