Home game.

. Could help if game circumstances are right. Or everything could get toxic on national TV lol. Hoping for some help there maybe
Hairball has been known to suck too
Ravens Defense is bad. May help us with our passing issues
Rogers gets another week to practice with our mid wrs. May help in the long run if make playoffs
Better weather
Make Snoop Huntley beat us? Maybe a strategy
Boz hopefully gets back on point
Would be a Tomlin thing to do. Lose stupid game today. Win next week lol
Anyone think of any other possible positives? I know this subject will get wrecked but just wondering.
Be nice

Mike Tomlin came out and defended the team's performance today. Said they didn't play poorly, just came up short. Tipped his hat and all that.
Cam was hyped about the opportunity they have next week.
None of them are embarrassed about this loss.

Seahawks v 49ers will most likely be Sunday night game if 49ers win tonight....if 49ers win tonight, winner of next weeks game will be number 1 seed in NFC, and this would be a much more entertaining game. My guess is they either play at 4:25 Sunday, or Saturday night.

Positives
As non steeler fan. I follow Steelers and dolphins cause I lived in both areas but couldn’t give two shits about either
First
Ben would have won that game. That guy was always a guy who scared me and I knew would pull it off.
Second
Should Steelers even be in this position. They got all the calls verse ravens and lions. They are lucky they get this last game to get in playoffs
Third. Steelers should win next week. You gotta admit the nfl either likes Tomlin or Rooneys. I doubt Jackson plays and Huntley sucks. Don’t tell me otherwise.
4th. Really weird Steelers can’t move ball all game then they let Rodgers throw and then they are in red zone. Something is off there
5th ben and nfl saves tomlin so many tones there are three times that under dogs have won that helped Steelers get in playoffs . Something is off there.
6. Steelers should win and get in at 9-8 like I predicted on here but was ignored. If they can avoid bills they could win won game. This stuff is mostly decided ahead of time. Including steeler wins and losses

A loss is a massive embarrassment and might bring change.
A loss puts them drafting around 17 instead of mid 20’s.
A loss probably brings loud Fire Tomlin chants to a national audience again.
A win gives them a division title and then the annual ass beating at home int the WC round, likely to the Bills.

Their QB is of Tomlin level intellect so we can always count on a good amount of dumbfuckery.

While i wouldnt mind this scenario at all, No DK no Washington and no Watt might just be all the cover Tomlin needs to avoid the above scenario, except for the slightly better draft slot.

It's the end of the season.
There will be unintentional buffoonery and humor.
There's a chance Harball will really embarrass Coach T.
It's the end of the season.
Could have playoff implications for Coach Mike. After all, he's the star of this show.
Maybe Kenny Gainwell will be involved, he's fun to watch.

We can keep this simple … as it is quite … the Tomlin game matrix
It’s all on tape and is the story of their season and decade
The Steeler will come out and do what they do in every big game … full predictability
If everything goes the Steelers way … TOs, refs, dumb luck AND harbaugh is dumb enough to get in a rock fight - steelers win
If everything goes the Steelers way … TOs, refs, dumb luck AND harbaugh is creative and gutsy - edge ravens
If TOs, ref and luck are neutral - Steelers will lose
If TOs refs and luck are a net negative they will get stomped
It the genius and absurdity of Tomlin … in a big game they will alawys do the same thing Tomlin gets glory for win and blames execution for loss
It’s why the winning and losing is so random

A home loss will look much worse for Tomlin though I know he'll coach as long as he wants to.
That's really the only positive I can muster after watching the shitfest today.

Just throwing this random nugget in here.
The Mike Tomlin Steelers suck against the dregs of the league. Longest streak of losses to teams 8 games under .500 in NFL history and all that.
They also suck against playoff teams. Haven't won a playoff game in going on 9 seasons now. Only beat 1 playoff team this year in the Pats. Needed 5 fluky turnovers to do it.
They really are just the kings of the soft mushy middle of the league.

Why weren’t they focused today?
Because of the holiday week.
Luckily it is not a holiday week next week. There won’t be extra days off and I doubt any of the rich multi-millionaires will have any parties to show off their side by sides and new toys from the previous holiday week. I am sure there will be no parties with a fully stocked bar, edibles and platters of blunts.
They will be focused like the a little boy with a magnifying glass trying to burn ants at night!

So the 49ers and Bears didn't also have to be focused with the Holiday?

Tell me about it! I have been ranting about holiday prep since before Thanksgiving.
It is Tomlin’s kryptonite!
It is what explains the December collapses and piss poor playoff performances. He should be doubling down on physical and mental work literally, pre-holiday week, actual holiday week, and post-holiday week. Fuck their wives, children, nieces and nephews…suck it up, they know the deal! Hug them all after a victorious game.
It is a special privilege to play in the NFL, and you are paid as such; act accordingly. I don’t think you can prevent the Animal House parties, but you can sure as shit reduce the amount of hours they can happen.

Idk - the collapse failing to get in or tying Marvin Lewis all time record of 7 consecutive playoff losses.
Cause one of those two things is happening lol

Positives:
There are still a few days between now & Sunday, so there's still time for Arthur Smith (OC), Alfredo Roberts (TE coach), Zack Azzanni (WR coach) & Eddie Faulkner (RB coach) to get hit by a PAT bus.

Oh I agree. Dunce Rooney could very well pat his coach on the head for a “job well done” given all the “adversity” poor Jibba Jabber had to endure.
Wouldn’t be surprised if his dumb ass has a season ending presser gaslighting the fans with his tired “if but for a bounce here and a bounce there” bullshit.
