SNF....Depressing

I'll tell ya what really sucks, is watching the Bears and 49ers go back and forth, its amazing what great offensive coaching can do for a team, not to mention teams that actually invest in offensive talent over defensive talent...San Fran has only punted once all freaking month, I mean how is that even possible?

OC is every bit as important as QB in the NFL today. Unfortunately not only do we never have a good OC, we have a HC that neuters both the QB and OC intentionally.
Fuckhead Tomlin didn’t think we played poorly today despite losing to a lowly 3-win team because his perspective revolves solely around turnover margin and points allowed on defense. In that light, they didn’t play poorly at all today. None of you will see a playoff win here until Tomlin is gone.

Gosh where did these teams find new coaches.
Can't believe they were able to do that.

This isn’t the same sport as we watch. Greek said it in the other thread.
I’m strongly considering just “switching” teams. I can’t take this shit anymore.

What’s also depressing is watching teams build for ultimate success even if it take a few off years
As opposed to intentionally striving to sustain mediocrity
The damned patriots had Brady and now they have maye and had no qualms canning their coach to get the one they wanted

I would give my left nut to have a guy like Sean McVay or Shannehan coach the Steelers....hell McVay is on his way to the number 1 seed possibly and just fired his special teams coach this week, guy has one goal and one goal only. Steelers should have shown Tomlin the door after last season and hired Ben Johnson, that was their chance to change the trajectory of the organization.

That’s it in a nutshell … the ultimate goal of the HC and the team … ours is different

I know right. Who could we ever find to replace Jibba Jabber?? It would be almost impossible.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears who were 5-12 last season say hello while positioning themselves for the 1 or 2 seed this year.

These teams use every aspect of the game try and gain advantage and win
Run pass d special teams, varied and multi level play calling
They don’t intentioanally handicap themselves
Christ it’s maddening … not only to watch it result in mediocrity and failure but to listen to it be defended as good
We should all be looking forward to a grand draft in Pittsburgh next year …but we aren’t because of the giant fucking albatross around the Collectives neck

100%.
Hire Johnson and tell him he is free to build his team.
But no, we value stability and NHALS and other bullshit like that.

Cool. Keep supporting mediocrity with your attention and your pocketbook. I’m sure YOUR BOY Tomlin will turn this right around. He’s got this!

Our team is steeped in well designed marketing lies / and political nonesense
Using a hot wire from goodell to hire Tomlin (bogus Rooney rule) after offering Russ from the job where he accepted. That got swept under the rug by the media
I’m sure they paid Grimm well to go away and keep
Silent
I’ll go out now and say it, we got the 6th lomabardi anyway, with cowhers players. But it’s been a slow slide into forced mediocrity
12 years of a sham/lie. I’m done accepting it. Haven’t for many years . Let’s call out Rooney for his absolute shit show that he’s been orchestrating here

This in a nutshell is what’s so wrong with this fucking turd.
A real coach would have been pissed that in a game that could have sealed the division his team didn’t crack the opponents red zone till the last drive and failed to get into the EZ the entire game.
Pathetic he brushes that off.
More pathetic there are still fans willing to put up with this turd.

No one is accepting it. The fallacy here is if you are not 100% negative all the time that you are a happy with the current situation.
I want the Steelers to win every game they play. I just pointed out that so many here that say they cant stand to watch are commenting on every play and faux saying on how they are done. If you don't like the team don't watch.

Wow. Blatant refball.
Gives the Bears a first over a “holding” call.
Luckily we have that little shit MccAulay to say it was the right call.

There are certainly a few who accept it.
Plus, when you bash people for booing because “what difference is going to make anyways” you are accepting it.
Booing at home games is EXACTLY what needs to happen to wake up the Dunce.
Wins and complacency keep him comfy & lazy.
If we miss the playoffs it’ll be more “ah schucks if only a bounce here and there”. Plus, they’ll blame injury and DI situation why not recognizing how bad this team really is offensively.

Bears wanted to trade for Tomlin. Hope they send Rooney a thank you letter for saying no. We could’ve had extra first round picks and Ben Johnson right now.

Ben Johnson calls the hook and sugar with the #1 seed on the line. We call three straight runs then punt.

Those are two stud coaches.
If Tomlin makes more than them they should quit tomorrow. The fact that Tomlin even earns a paycheck at this point pisses me the fuck off

If we all give a sacrifice to Jobu maybe the Giants will trade a second rounder for Coach Tomlin. The draft would be grand and we would have 13 young players to replace some of the roster of the oldest or 2nd oldest roster in the NFL.
