There a quite a few posters here who brag about beginning to hate Tomlin in the middle of Super Bowl run. There are quite a few who loudly talk about how long theyve despised Tomlin in spite of several playoff appearances.
To those posters I say go fuck yourself. Most of you dont know shit about football the nfl or the Steelers.
There are some here who have some legit points. Tomlin isnt perfect.
If you are unable to have a good amount of hope after the ravens game yesterday its likely I think you are dumbass and generally dont have a clue about football ....the nfl.....the Steelers.....or life.
You're right, "Tomlin isn't perfect." In actuality, he's probably a very good man, a loving husband and an excellent father to his kids. He's also a "player's coach" and a lousy game manager, not a good judgement of talent, bad decision maker on and off the field (e.g., which players he keeps, signs, releases). And he's awful at game planning and play calling. I'm sure I'm missing some items but you get the point.
Mike Tomlin is not helping this team. In fact, I'll say he's hurting this team with his coaching and leadership.
Related point: When do you see the Steelers players fired up? Except for posing after making a nice play, when is this team emotionally charged up? I don't see it but I do see it on many other teams. There's a lot missing from this team and the buck stops with Tomlin (and after him, Colbert and the Rooneys).
If the Steelers can get draft picks for him AFTER the season I would be a very happy fan!
